June 28, 2019 (Visperas pt. 1)- 175th Apalit Town Fiesta in honor of Apung Iru & Apung Ambu

June 28 marks the beginning of the 3-day Fiestang Balen. This day was highlighted by the Libad-dakit wherein thousands of devotees, together with Apung Ambu, joined Apung Iru in the Traslacion from his repositorio in
Brgy. Capalangan to the Pisamban Maragul. This day is traditionally intended for the visitors of the townsfolk of Apalit, a day of sumptuous banquets and trademark Kapampangan hospitality.
The 175th Libad started at 9:46 AM with the blessing of the lancha and ended at 7:30 PM with the docking of the
lancha at the daungan - Pasig, Brgy. San Juan. It lasted a total of nine hours and fourty-four minutes making it one of the longest Libads in recent history.
