I just found a link online but it's for a store based here in the States. But perhaps the same brand is sold in other countries? Not sure. They used to be everywhere in the 70s & 80s. www.lowes.com/pd/Coolaroo-Exterior-Shade-Tan-Light-Filtering-Cordless-OutdoorExterior-Shade-Actual-48-in-x-72-in/1001575076?store_code=1188
I found them at my local Lowe's but see that they still have an online listing: www.lowes.com/pd/Coolaroo-Exterior-Shade-by-Coolaroo-Tan-Light-Filtering-Cordless-OutdoorRoller-Shade-Actual-72-in-x-72-in/1001575096
Great idea for those very young performers, especially since piupiu are so expensive and become fragile with age.
My mum's just disintegrated and a replacement was unaffordable for us. =(

That's AWESOME, Heather! ❤🌺 Thank you for making this video! 😃
I remember making mine and we were allowed creative liberties to make them unique to each dancer. We didn’t use the artificial bamboo blinds.
It's amazing to see what creative materials people use.
Do you have any workshops or online instruction in the way of spinning poi? Thank you so much for the wonderful video!
I have short poi videos but have not done any long poi since there are a lot out there already. ua-cam.com/video/_zXdv2UgErI/v-deo.html
If you are in the Washington DC area you can always come dance with us!
You can braid it in right? With long yarn so i can braid it in tightly n it wont go lose.
Leemed Buchun yep I’ve seen people do that. I’m just not good at it so I sewed it into ribbon and added ties
