I love these kinds of sets so much, I can’t even use them! Sounds strange, but my OCD ‘won’t let me’ and gets super bad with things like this! 😂 if I were to use up one supply in there, it would gnaw away at me that I couldn’t get a replacement for it and if I could, it wouldn’t be from the set it came from. I wouldn’t be able to help but know it didn’t originally come from there😂 and just looking at the closed up box, would be a constant reminder of the replaced/used up supplies inside 😂and seeing half or even a little bit of a supply used up in there and not being the same as the rest like in how they came, would just completely bother me! Idk how many (cheaper) sets like this I have of art supplies that I have a hard time actually using. I have a cheap Crayola marker set I bought many years ago that I discovered was missing a single marker due to a packaging error before I bought it. I literally cannot use the rest of the set and it’s sat in my studio ever since. I have Fiskers craft shear and paper punch case set that’s got like 25 pieces in it that would have originally cost me $120 but got it on sale at a huge discount and since one of the punches broke, I can’t use the rest of the set. I have since let my kids use them and still have a hard time trying to make sure the pieces are still in the case exactly where they belong when you’re done with them. My OCD is so bad, I can’t even throw out the broken ones because if I did, there would be an empty space where it went and my brain wouldn’t be able to process that as being acceptable 😂🫠

@@PaintingwithAvipsa no, I just can’t use them 😂 my brother bought me a sumi ink set from Japan that he got when he was stationed there years ago. I have never used it, not even once. 😂 it’s strange because there are many things like this that gnaw at me and I HAVE to keep super organized and together, but other areas of my life and home aren’t like that. Like I have a SUPER hard time writing in a new notebook. If I do, I HAVE to keep it to ONE topic OR reserve that notebook specifically for random notes. When I write in them, it has to be with the same pen too. I have fountain pens and they have to be refilled, but I can’t put a different kind of ink in them because when I buy supplies like this, I have to purchase them together, like the ink with the pen it’s intended to be used with. If I order them together but they get shipped and delivered separately, I have had to learn to make due with the fact that I can’t control that and have to live with it. I have a hard time returning things as well so when I make a purchase, I have to commit to it more. I can’t throw packaging boxes out on expensive things. I still have the original boxes that my iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Pencil, my blender, and major appliances like that. I always think, “but what if I need them? Or need to return them because something doesn’t work right?” Which is weird because I can’t return stuff because it gnaws at me where it goes from there- is someone else actually using that because they resold it? Or is it sitting in a landfill somewhere and I caused that to happen?! 😂 It’s so weird that it’s so different for different things. I have a hard time mixing palettes of paints because they were purchased together and I categorize in my head when and where I bought different supplies and try to use them together. It’s even worse if someone touches my stuff. I once bought an expensive pair of pants and once someone else borrowed them without telling me and I couldn’t wear them again! Not even after I washed them. I had to throw them out! 😂 someone takes my head phones and uses them, I can’t m, even if I clean and sterilize them because it’s just the thought that they have been in someone else’s ears that gets to me that I just can’t do it! In my head, all I’m thinking about was “but what if you didn’t clean them well enough? Those germs are in your ears now!” And it doesn’t stop until I remove them and so I just don’t do things like that any more. Its not even so much that I’m a germaphobe! It’s just the fact that someone else that’s not me has touched my stuff that get to me, almost more like a violation of boundaries more so than germs, like ‘that’s MINE, not yours, don’t touch it!’. 😂 It’s an odd compulsion that I can’t help, but on the outside, everything seems normal, but in my head, I just can’t unsee/unthink things like that. It used to be worse, but I have found that telling myself the world will not implode if I don’t believe what my head is trying to convince me of, so it’s a huge work in progress. But as far as art supplies goes, I have found that it’s better if I buy things individually and not in huge sets like this. I think it’s the fact that it is a set that drives me insane. Last year for Christmas, my kids got a bunch of games and I spent the whole entire day trying to keep track of all the pieces. It finally occurred to me that I was ruining the experience and the meaning of the whole day because of ONE missing piece I couldn’t find even thought the whole house was covered in wrapping paper and packaging messes 😂 with OCD, you don’t get to choose what you obsess over that’s why it’s hard to spot someone who has it. I can have a pile of dishes in the sink and it doesn’t bother me as much as having a compulsion to have to drop what I’m doing and search for that one missing puzzle piece or make sure the markers in the set are all accounted for or have to pick every last Lego out of the dirt pile I swept up off the floor and make sure it get to where it needs to go. But, yes, if it’s a set, especially one that’s purchased together, I have a hard time using it. And if I ‘can’t’ use it because it sits on the shelf, it’s a constant visual reminder to me that that set is missing a piece. But honestly, for crayons, I have a whole stockpile of those and for this exact reason. For those, I HAVE to dump them into a caddy and use them from there. I have found that if I keep them in the box and put them away and notice one that’s missing, it gets to me. If it’s in a caddy, I won’t see if one is not there and it won’t bother me so much. However, even when the crayons get too small to use, I still have a hard time tossing them, so it’s not completely fool proof, but it helps tremendously to get around it so long as I resist the urge to count them and make sure they’re all there 😂😂😂 I have many boxes of ‘back ups’ on hand so when they do get dwindled down to not so many, I can just get a new box and dump those on there too. This works with things like cheap crayons, but it makes it harder for supplies that I don’t want to ‘mistreat’ like that and do keep organized. I have art supplies still organized in their original cases that I purchased in college almost 20 yrs ago and those need to be put back when I use them. This is easier for me to use those supplies still because I didn’t buy them as a set. Again, can’t control what your brain wants to process as needing to obsess over and I feel better when it’s not purchased together as a set even if I put it together in a set and have to make everything labeled and once it is the set I put it in, I don’t like to put it together into a different set. My brain needs to know where things are when I put them somewhere and that I will find them there when I go to get them. It makes living with kids even harder. Our youngest went through a period of just taking stuff. I’d set something down and he’d take it and be off in the other room before I even knew he was even in there to take it and it drove me up a freak wall because my brain would go into hyperdrive having it not be there when I came back. I have a hard time moving furniture around for this reason and when we moved into our house some 8yrs ago, I had received a giant clock and had planned in my head where in our living room it would go. When we moved in, we put it somewhere else because it wouldn’t fit BUT in my brain, that clock ‘belongs’ on that one wall and I still look to that wall to check the time over looking to the wall it’s actually on. This also happens when moving stuff around. That’s some clock, spent 4 yrs being on one wall. I removed it to paint the house and put it on a different wall and I still automatically check the other wall it was on first and it’s been in a new spot for 4 yrs now😂 same thing when we moved in. I hung pictures on one of our walls. They were removed along with the wall (literally) about 4 yrs ago and when I look to that entrance was we put in instead, I can still ‘see’ the pictures on the wall where they were put even though they’re obviously not there. Those pictures I took down? Well, I can’t put them back up in a new spot because they ‘don’t’ go anywhere else except in the wall we took down and have sat on the shelf ever since 😂😂 I know that was way more than you asked about, but that’s just how my brain works.

I never had any good art supplies as a child. As an adult, I treated new art supplies like holy relics. Then I began to go to estate sales and yard sales, and I would buy a LOT of art supplies. Some were slightly used, some untouched, and I realized the last thing I want to do as an artist is to leave behind a legacy of sparkling clean virginal art supplies, and instead leave behind art. And a lot of pencil stubs, empty watercolor trays, and ruined brushes. So what you have to, so long as you leave behind beautiful pictures. Cheers.

This small cabinet with drawers is very easy to manufacture. It makes me want to do some kind of imitation for myself, for my drawing materials and for my sewing and embroidery materials, because that's exactly the style of furniture I have in my studio. I never buy a set; it would be a waste because in the sets there is always something that does not interest me. More particularly in the large ranges of colored pencils, there are many very close nuances. In addition, I need to vary the brands, my graphite pencils are not all Faber Castell. I have Lyra, Derwent and Faber Castell, they are all very good. In any case, it is a very beautiful cabinet.
Your Channel is very underrated compared to the quality of videos you upload .... the cinematic shots and offcourse all the masterpieces you have drawn are really great
It represents the achievement of security, of attainment. Anyone who has ever had to leave all but the basics on the shelf or had to choose between the basics and ramen and still chosen the basics knows exactly what that represents. There will be plenty that can just have it and I hope they get it so they never have to know that feeling. That set is the most beautiful thing they could ever put together. Well done.!
How much I admire both your work and your style Jono. Surprise qualities of engagement/ presentation are a delight… no less this presentation of Faber Castell products.🤗💓💓
I love the way your sharpen your pencils. Brings back happy memories of my dad doing that. He always said don't waste your pencils in a mechanical sharpen by knife lose less pencil and he could get a sharp point. Thank you. It's a skill Your drawing also incredible

A wonderfull video. I enjoyed every moment and part of it. How an real artist described what he sees as the ultimative tools. And some of his working process. It's so nice. I love this video! Thanks.
What an amazing gift you've received - something that would be a dream for me! Many times I feel like a bit of a fool using the best art supplies when I'm NOT producing 'masterpieces', so I find it weirdly comforting that an incredible artist like yourself would treat these fine products as a bit 'too precious' to use.
That's a terrible mindset. I suppose you think it's better to wait until you pass from this world so someone more "worthy" can use them, or maybe your heirs will throw them out or sell them for pennies on the dollar.
@@tthomas184 he buys more of the same pencils, has been using them for years. He's probably used through hundreds of them. Clearly he doesn't think they are "too precious" to use.
@@beckbabej My reply was to your post saying the OP has a terrible mindset. Btw, what he wrote is really common for artists, so he has a good mindset for using good material despite sometimes feeling foolish.
Faber Castell didn’t hold back when creating this masterpiece set of their best drawing and coloring products. Thanks for sharing it. You’re a fantastic artist! It’s kind of too bad, though, that you said you wouldn’t use them. I understand that, because when I get brand new products, especially the more expensive ones, like my recent purchase of a set of 40 Caran d’Ache Luminance color pencils, (I have a good size set of Polychromos too and really like them.) I look at their beautiful packaging with the pencils lined up perfectly….all the same size in original color order and sitting very securely in their foam cradles and I don’t want to use them. But that’s what I bought them for..to be used. So I’m getting over that “they’re too precious to use” problem and enjoying them for the quality and beauty of their color lay down and blending. So maybe one day you’ll be able to use that fantastic supply, that despite its beauty and that it’s like a “work of art” in itself, that you’ll also use them because they’re also an art supply that was made to be used. 😊
I got goosbums...how can artsyply do this...awsom. congrats, that you now own such impressive artpeace. I have to admid I am a little jolous. This two pictures are great together, like that.
I have the Watercolor pencils box with all the pencils and I use them. I can't afford to have them just to look at them! But I did transfer the ones I didn't have double to 3 tisue things for pencils. I feel guilty too when using them because they are so beautiful! My latest purchase was the matt pencils box! Just by thinking of them my fingers itch! 😀😃🙂
I won an art competition in 1985 as a six grader. I was given a metal bow of polychrome pencils that I treasured. The range texture and effect were incredible. I still use the same pencils in my Design and architecture practise to this day. The best pencils. Studio line Derwent were close tie.
That is a SWWEEEEETTT ASSSSS kit! It's always a bit daunting to get/buy something like that because you feel guilty about using it, so i always have to remind myself that it's SUPPOSED to be used (unless you bought it specifically to keep as a collector's item, which is cool too!)
I just saw this beautiful box on the Faber-Castell site..wow. I am going to be saving up to buy it for Xmas on the Jackson site. It is a dream box for any type of artist! I am also very practical and like how everything is all in one big box! Amazing for sure! Enjoy it Jono!
What a gorgeous set of works ❤️ I hope they have an opportunity to be framed and displayed together. You could still use the items in the beautiful box, you could always replace the pieces that are used 😊

Commercial video about some dudes using some pens from some company... Maybe. But, to be honest, what a great collaboration. Eyes are really hard to perfect, and drawing one half of the same picture each is an awesome idea and a great way to show these pencils off. Not to forget the guys at Faber-Castell, who sent this to obviously the right person. Unboxing videos on youtube are kinda cool. Rarely do we see something special like this though. Thanks.

Beautiful package for two talented artists to demonstrate their beautiful skills!
Wow! I also use Faber Castell pencils exclusively; this is a dream box. Thanks for this video.
Congrats Jono.... that's every artist's dream....looking forward to some masterpieces from you in the coming days...
Soooooo cool you guys reunited!! Both were unbelievable, thank you!
That collaboration is super cool. Both pieces are excellent!
I would love to see the color pupil on the black and white face.. with this set and Jono's exploration as an artist, fingers crossed for touches of color!
Cheers, and keep up the amazing work
I'm speechless about all of this. Legacy
The sound of the boxes. Love how you presented
i love these so muuuch
This was such an amazing video. I looooved the unveiling of the limited edition and the collaboration with your friend.
Faber Castell is awesome. Its like a childhood friend🤩
After watching this I FINALLY get how some individuals get orgasmic about exotic car videos or gaming. It's all about finding your people! And although I don't draw (much) as part of my art, I do appreciate that Faber-Castell invested in an ultimate collection so beautifully packaged. Kudos to you!
Faber-Castell pencils are the best. They really know how to achieve that smoothness, fullness and stability that satisfies artists.
This is heaven for creating I love this
I could feel my pulse race when you opened those drawers. Wow!
Can't wrap my mind around how exquisite that box is, and I love your reverance for it. I swear by Faber-Castell as well. What I wouldn't give just to hold that set even for a minute.. :)
This was sooo satisfying. I can not afford such beautiful tools. You are a huge inspiration to my desire to draw.
Beautiful work and a wonderful final message, as you say it's a signature feature, a talking point rather than a posh storage solution!
Yes.. You worked so hard..... I love it when artist gets some presents❤️❤️💖💖🎊
If anyone, you deserve it! Congratulations
Ooohh what a fabulous gift... just gorgeous
At 1:30...its fun to watch Craig absolutely DROOL over the box of art playprettys set before him. Can't say as I blame him....I'd be drooling just as hard. Faber Castell makes some really, really good stuff.
Oh wow what a mad wonderful gift for yourself! I'd be excited too
Wow! I didn’t know I was capable of envy 🥴 What an awesome collection 👍🏼
Wow. It’s amazing! Faber Castell is my favourite brand.
I LOVE using Fabre Castel!
I couldn’t use any of those supplies either. It looks absolutely beautiful in your studio. Can’t think of anyone more deserving
congratulations for the set🎉 🎉 🎉 you are living my dream bro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm really excited to see Craig more in another video!
Such a great box of goodies! I want one!! Brilliant video as always👍🏻
A wonderfull video. I enjoyed every moment and part of it. How an real artist described what he sees as the ultimative tools. And some of his working process. It's so nice. I love this video! Thanks.
Absolutely epic, thank you for sharing! And what beautiful art as always.
Lovely !! ☺♥A fantasy file cabinet of amazing possibilities in each tray !! thank you for sharing and, of course the artwork from all looks amazing !!
Jono, doesn't have that mindset, he IS using the exact same pencils all the time. He just wants to keep the collectors box intact
@@beckbabej he clearly wrote he does use them.
The box is just stunning. I have most of their art supplies, but this would be gorgeous to have in my studio.
I have most of their watercolor pencil sets! I love thwm!
@@rickaguilar1833 That is so cool, I don't use watercolors as much as I would like to but for sure all the supplies they make are just top notch.
Okay this collab is everything! You both did an incredible job and they look so great together! 😍😍
1st comment from India 😀❤️
Yooo love from India ♥️♥️
That’s soooo cool and your collaboration looks totally amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
I love the Faber-Castell products and that box looks epic!
Jono my god you got such talent that eye look just like a real photo
wow both amazing! That's gorgeous! And what a beautiful set!
Oh myyyy! what a beautiful collection - lucky YOU! Congratulations :)
Omg jono that is amazing!!
You absolutely deserve that holy grail of an art supply😱😱
Your work is beautiful and poetic :)
We already know the material inside are amazing, but the box... Wow, such an excellent piece of design!
That is a SWWEEEEETTT ASSSSS kit! It's always a bit daunting to get/buy something like that because you feel guilty about using it, so i always have to remind myself that it's SUPPOSED to be used (unless you bought it specifically to keep as a collector's item, which is cool too!)
More collabs please! This dude is insanely good too
Oh boy, that's impressive!
You boys (I am old) did a fantastic job thanks for sharing.
4:45 looks so beautiful. Wow!
Now, that's a thing of beauty 😍❣️
I have just one word…..SWEET!❤
I just saw this beautiful box on the Faber-Castell site..wow. I am going to be saving up to buy it for Xmas on the Jackson site. It is a dream box for any type of artist! I am also very practical and like how everything is all in one big box! Amazing for sure! Enjoy it Jono!
Listen - if you ever get tired of them you can send the entire collection to me here in NYC!! 😳🤩🤗🗽🥰🧑🎨
What a dream....!!!!!! Thank You for sharing your enthusiasm - ♥ congratulations
This is truly wonderful. Congrats
Yes, please!
Such a beautiful piece
Thanks for posting!
What a gorgeous set of works ❤️ I hope they have an opportunity to be framed and displayed together.
You could still use the items in the beautiful box, you could always replace the pieces that are used 😊
Wow this is a dream, thank you for your video. Enjoy it and love what you are doing 😊😊🎉
I’m a big fan, love your work.
What a set! ❤
I only knew your channel this month. You deserve a million followers 🥺. You really help me to be motivated to do drawing. Thanks for your effort to make a great video.. I'm now on a process of watching and liking all your videos.😃
Lovely stuff man! Well done guys!
I would just love to look at it!
Great work. It works if you work it.🧑🎨♾️🙂
Bellissima confezione!!! Condivido la sua emozione. Paragonabile sicuramente, a quella di un bambino che scarta un meraviglioso giocattolo. Complimenti Jono
Having something new, this emotion is out of reach for a common people. Only an artist can understand how it feels!
I love @FaberCastell I mostly use their products since I am a Child. Greetings from Stuttgart Germany
OMG 😱 I wish I could afford a set like this!!! All I use is color pencils in my art
That’s awesome!!
Wow 😳 quality materials..
I am green with envy, I would also have a hard time using them, it is to be admired. Great video, 2 great artists for the price of one 👍🏾 👏🏾 ❤
Omg. I wish my skill level was up to this great set of tools.
😻😻😻 Gorgeous box!
This channel is so awsome .thank you so much
Wow those sets though 😍
not this being my dream purchase and he’s just displaying it in😭
Commercial video about some dudes using some pens from some company... Thanks.
This is awesome! Great video
You deserve it. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩❤️❤️❤️
If that's not a treasure chest, I don't know what is!
