I had PTSD during this whole ordeal. I would tell my family all about it. We still don’t know why Linc contracted this bacteria? From where? From who? 😢😢😢
MSSA staph lives on most everyone’s skin. There is absolutely no way to tell how he got it or where he got it from. The doctors said it is absolutely not my fault and there is no way I could have prevented it. It could happen to anyone. Especially a baby with no immune system. I told the doctor I was going to have someone go and disinfect the house top to bottom before we got home and he said there’s no point, MSSA doesn’t live on anything long enough to worry about it. I just make sure we all wash out hands a lot. I carry hand sanitizer everywhere and clean everything even more than I did before which is a lot! It’s so nerve wracking not knowing. 😭
