Oh I really liked this calendar! A more affordable skincare calendar, seems very selfcare vibes and I actually really like that! Definitely different than normal ones but it's nice to see!

IMAGINE! If you could take a little online quiz about your skin tone and type and then have them send out an advent calendar that includes foundation powder and concealer too! Or even have an option for light, medium or dark🤔 with lots of diff shades included so you could mix your perfect shade 😮 think I could be onto something here🤣

Loose glitter 14. 2/3 brushes (eyeshadow ones) 15. A universally flattering blush 16. Nail varnish 17. Beauty sponge 18. A lip gloss 19. Head band or clips 20. Eyebrow pencil 21. Mini perfume 22. Pressed or loose powder In translucent 23. Primer 24. Black eyeliner 25. Makeup remover (miscella water or a balm) I mean imagine that for a calendar 😍 we don’t want tweezers or nail files 🤦♀️

Some of those products wouldn't make sense with how varied skintones are. I need extremely light contour and highlighters (fair is usually too dark). Others need really deep. I probably would never buy a beauty calendar since I'm anaphylactic to coconut, the trendy thing to put in products. So my thoughts don't have any weight. I'll defer to you, but those are my concerns about contour and highlighters. Not that I wouldn't want them in. Maybe a few calendars targeting different skintones (fair/medium, medium/dark, deep/very dark). In my thoughts they put examples of skintones who could use the box. Maybe brands should collab for the ultimate box?

I feel like if you have no allergies or skin conditions and you don't mind skincare then this calendar is one of the best 😍 I have allergies so i wouldn't risk it but I would definitely use every single product in this calender if I could!
I’ve bought this advent calendar. Aldi is well known for its skincare dupes and I love them. I prefer them over the expensive stuff. Great value for money but definitely not for people who are expecting it to be solely based on make up x

i looked it up and yes, the floral perfume is a dupe for marc jacob's daisy! apparently they also do a lot of dupes for jo malone as well, which baffles me as i honestly had no idea aldi sold anything but groceries and some home goods lol!

Although the products are cheaper, I really like both Aldi and Lidl skincare and makeup products. Got the bronzer and the highlighter from Aldi when they were new in the store and was so impressed by how they came out (a lot of loose product though but maybe changed now). Been using the primer from Aldi for years as well and love it
