27:19Tilak found the first home rule league at the Bombay provincial congress at Belgaum in April 1916. then after this Annie Besant founded second league at Adyar Madras in September 1916. While Tilak's league worked in areas like Maharashtra (excluding Bombay city), Karnataka, Central provinces and Berar, Annie Besant's league worked in the rest of India. The members of Servants of India Society were not allowed to join the movement.

1) Servants of India society- Gopal krishna Gokhale(1905- pune, maharashtra)
2) Servants of people society- Lala Lajpat Rai(1921- lahore)
1) Madras Native Association (1852) - Gazulu Lakshminarasu Chetty
2) Madras Mahajan Sabha(1884) - M. Viraghavacharya, G. Subramaniya aiyer, P. Anand Charlu
1) Lokmanya Tilak started Indian Homerule league before Annie Besant's league
2) Annie besant started All India Homerule league
3) Gandhiji joined All India Homerule league ( Besant's league)
After he renamed it by Swarajya Sabha....
4) Lala lajpat rai started Indian homerule league in US ...
There were two 'Young India's:
(1) 'Young India' launched by Jamnadas Dwarkadas, Shankerlal Banker and Indulal Yagnik. Gandhiji published it in English (weekly) from 1919 to 1931.
(2) 'Young India', a monthly journal by Lala Lajpat Rai, when he was in exile in USA.
●'New India' by Annie Besant: She purchased 'Madras Standard' in 1914, and renamed it 'New India'
1) August Declaration(1917) - control over the Indian government would be gradually transferred to the Indian people, and a responsible government would be gradually established
2) August offer - the expansion of the Executive Council of the Viceroy of India to include more Indians, the establishment of an advisory war council, giving full weight to minority opinion, and the recognition of Indians' right to frame their own constitution.
