Lame ass answer. We both know damn well that felons don’t usually turn their lives around for the better like you did. You became a great role model and you share your thoughts very well. I really enjoy your work however most felons don’t do that. Most end up back in crime just as they started. I wouldn’t want to know felons.

I heard an interview with a guy who said about his time in prison. He was in his cell driving himself nuts when he had a realization "This cell can either be my prison and insane asylum or I can make it into my college and monastery."
I read that our modern American "rehabilitation" ideas in prison were from the Quakers. They designed individual cells to provide space for quiet self reflection. They were very strong about the men using the time to connect with God and believed that would help them heal their own troubles and if given the opportunity they would rehabilitate themselves Of course it's been perverted beyond belief but the original concept wasn't evil and was actually well intentioned.
JD I think I can speak for the majority bro. We all love you too. I've never been in, but have a lot of brothers who were. Some made good choices when they got out like you, others didn't. Hey, big dog I had to drop you a comment. You're my f*king hero! Your vibe is refreshing man. We needed more dudes like you in the New Hampshire Prison System. Too many child predators and not enough solid dudes. I did 4 years back from 2001 to 2005 and I went in at about 260 but a lot of heart and a decent set of hands...once I packed up in Concord finishing up an 87 DAY STAY in R&D that started in May in the oldest part of the prison so im lucky enough to have a dude from the streets who i was pretty tight with actually we both got sent upstate from county the same day.. i was scared bro like fr fr. I was 19 and he was like 28-29 and headed up to Laconia NH (yeah where bike week is) it's good to have friend who can watch your 6. Well let's just say Jason didn't have hands. Like maybe 1 fight in h.s. Still in that wild punching while your looking at the ground not your opponents faceyou 😳 so from that day forward we worked out in r&d with water bags, dips, pushups and sit ups in 80-95° degree weather I was doing that 2 a day shit, STARVING. So now it's the end of August & it's time to head to Laconia and my boy from back home is visibly shaken and I'm like yo, snap out of that deer in the headlights look and at least fake it till u make it. And we were getting there I was down to 222 up to being able to do 25 pushups in a row and my bro front the
I did a year in Bexar County Detention Center in Texas and being overweight definitely made my time go by harder. People expect you to always be hungry, always expect you to smell, not want to clean the units, and generally negative traits so I had to be extra clean, hygienic, funny, and outgoing just to make it by. I had to not only act not fat but go out of my way to kill whatever fat qualities, others assumed I had
Jd you make me want to work harder i been out of prison for 8 months now been at my job 7 months now keep up the great work i only did 5 years for aggravated assault at the hill in South Dakota maximum prison
It's the opposite in rehab. Everyone comes in emaciated and after like two weeks the gals have their bodies back. Im too self conscious to work out in front of people so when I started gaining weight I just did pushups and situps and pullups when no one was around.
Good stuff man and people don’t realize what they can do until they have to do it I don’t know personally, but I feel like prison can bring stuff out of people
I'm a retiree with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. My last institution was USP-1 at Coleman, FL. When the complex was inaugurated in 1995 weights were never part of the inventory. Inmates being inmates devised a way to improvise. Plastic bags filled with water or sacks with sand were commonly found as part of our searches.
I'd love a sit down with ya mate, I reckon you'd have some pretty interesting stories. You're funny, charismatic & doing good in the world. I respect that.
Damn brother, you sound just like me about that love and hate. I didn't do any time thank god, but I did a hell of a lot of time in warzones for 15 years, preach. Love the channel!

She thought he was shouting at her😅but we made sure she knew that wasn’t the case & forwarded to parts he😂 She respectfully calls him - Colourful Giant Friend (tattoos she’s intrigued by) ♥️🥰
I recently came across your channel not too long ago and I've been going through all your vids and haven't found a bad one. Much respect to what you do, friend. We need more people like you. I've got a question, too. We all know pedophiles are the lowest of the low in prison and in society, but how are people who go to jail/prison for killing or assaulting a pedophile get treated? I'm assuming they get a pass as long as they're respectful?
Hey family! Welcome! I’m glad to have you as a part of this community! Dudes who kill Chomos definitely get some extra respect in there! That is one of the very few charges that people will actually give you credibility for !
There are loads of Bad ones, once you find out He drinks the leftist extremist kool aid and loves people who victimize the defenseless as long as they are black, you see his nasty bias.
Love your videos. Very informative. When they loose the weight. Do they still have the extra skin people outside have? Or is there a way they workout that stops that?
Damn JD, I been to prison a few times between my 20s and 30s. But I just turned 47 and I'm struggling to keep the weight off. Always Always think about this scenario. You never know what life will bring
I just stumbled upon your channel. Props to you for turning yourself around and trying to be a positive force in this world. Here's a question. What is the most noble act by a convict that you witnessed while incarcerated? EDIT: Corrected my question because I just learned the difference between "inmate" and "convict".
how does the "requirement" to be fit and exercise work for people who have health problems preventing them from doing a lot of exercising such as heart problems or major back issues? Stay warm and stay safe.
Look, there are a lot of people who have different issues ranging from long-term injuries to thyroid issues. It sucks for those people because they are more risk and they aren’t going to get the same respect. It’s not right and it’s not fair. Prison is a terrible place.
Hey Family! I want to preface this video by letting you guys know that this is not meant to shame anyone. We all know that prison comes down to survival of the fittest, and that means keeping up certain standards of physical fitness.
So this video was meant to highlight some of the reasons why that is important in there.

And we were getting there I was down to 222 up to being able to do 25 pushups in a row and my bro front the
JD coming in clutch once again against our boredom. Thank you good sir!
get a life
JD man i love seeing how you are blowing up much love brother congrats on the wife! Keep it up!
The Backstreet Boys insert cracked me tf up 😂😂😂
Jd you make me want to work harder i been out of prison for 8 months now been at my job 7 months now keep up the great work i only did 5 years for aggravated assault at the hill in South Dakota maximum prison
You got this. Keep doing the work. it’s hard, but you can do it.
Awesome video!! Very inspirational brother.... Had to subscribe!!!
your message is top notice! following!
Ik the feeling bro
God bless
I love how you treat people and think it's quite similar to myself
It's the opposite in rehab. Everyone comes in emaciated and after like two weeks the gals have their bodies back. Im too self conscious to work out in front of people so when I started gaining weight I just did pushups and situps and pullups when no one was around.
Thank you brother for being an amazing person
Thanks man, its the motivation that I needed.
“There is nothing worth going to prison except protecting myself or my family”. Amen brother
Love the long form videos. Keep it up.
Hell yeah!!! Thank you!
Facts about the fighting, cardio kills

Recently found you and really loving the vibe and videos. I’m all subbed up my dude!!
Good stuff man and people don’t realize what they can do until they have to do it I don’t know personally, but I feel like prison can bring stuff out of people
I watch you allmost every day brother. That thing you said at end was heavy stuff about love and hate
Love ya to bro ❤😊 subbed I like what your saying it's good for people to hear😊
JdDelay5150 hey sir I've personally never been to jail but I am however a veteran did 2 tours to Iraq and I absolutely respect and love everything that you do and talk about please keep em coming

Hey JD. Great content. Your friend in Portland Oregon. Danny. Much love
I’m so happy for you man. You look genuinely happy. You’re doing so good out there in the free world.
That’s so true about fights. It feels like hours and come to find out it’s less than 2 minutes 😅
Thank you so much Homie! And yeah, it can feel like a long time, but it feels even longer when you gas out and the other person is still going 😂😂😂
If People get hate you for no reason, I can love you for no reason. That made me want to cry I wish more people would understand. I love you bro!!
Man that "I love you" damn near broke me at this point in life.
Much love jd...hope the pad gets straightened out man.......
True words!
ALWAYS have GREAT views n messages on everything mane! I did 2 months in county n that was GOOOOOD enough for me lmao my hats OFF to yall BIG dawgs that went up the creek… no paddle no boat💪🏼🤙🏼
This gent knows how to engage people, from all walks of life & I’m for it. 1st time he popped up on my feed randomly my daughter (4+) was watching peppa pig & she burst into tears.
Really nice video!! Thanks!!
I can start watching your videos half asleep but by the end of the video I'm wide awake. That's a good thing !
I just stumbled upon your channel. Props to you for turning yourself around and trying to be a positive force in this world.
Here's a question. What is the most noble act by a convict that you witnessed while incarcerated?
EDIT: Corrected my question because I just learned the difference between "inmate" and "convict".
Me too bro I think everyone needs to love bro
how does the "requirement" to be fit and exercise work for people who have health problems preventing them from doing a lot of exercising such as heart problems or major back issues?
Stay warm and stay safe.
Look, there are a lot of people who have different issues ranging from long-term injuries to thyroid issues. It sucks for those people because they are more risk and they aren’t going to get the same respect. It’s not right and it’s not fair. Prison is a terrible place.
💯 facts strong 💪
Im in oregon it was a strange storm for sure. Oregon is never prepared.
