You are why I have so many answers to my medical problems. All my life I thought that I just had a bad immune system. After mentioning your conditions to my doctor test were scheduled and run. It turns out I share all your known illnesses except for gastroparesis. It's only thanks to you that I can get proper treatment. My boyfriend is supporting me as well. I'm 16 right now and he's 17. I hope we can be a strong married couple like you and Judd someday! I hope you rest well when you sleep tonight!

To Jacqui and Har (and Judd too!): you guys are an amazing team and such an inspiration to keep fighting through any pain and through the challenges in life! You have help me to realize that my slight illnesses (anemia, insomnia, and pica, idek if those count as illnesses) are just something I'm going to have to live with but I can keep pushing through it and live life to my fullest! I thank you for your videos because without them I would not have realized that! Thank you and happy birthday Harlow!

Edit: my conditions are not as severe sounding as they actually are for me. My anemia causes low iron counts in my body which causes my Pica, a form of. An eating disorder causing me to want to eat things that aren't food and can potentially harm my body as they have done to me, things like eating plaster without realizing I was even doing it causing me to have intestinal blockage and having to get my stomach pumped from it. We've tried multiple different methods and vitamins to fix this but because pica is so rare in someone my age (I'm 15) it's hazard for my doctors and we're not even sure if low iron or my anemia is causing it

Everything you said about the ups and downs of your chronic physical illnesses totally applies to chronic mental illness as well. And a couple days ago I actually got yelled at publically by a lady who felt I wasn't disabled enough to fit her definition, saying that I should feel ashamed because there are people who have it worse than I do. Just, wow. It's more than physical and mental, it's social, too.

Wow how rude she didn't know the whole story. Don't judge unless you know the whole story.
As I indicated, I did tell her "the whole story". She understood, but judged my disability as unworthy. The problem is that she elevated herself to judge, jury and executioner. In polite society, we don't do that to each other.
This is the problem. The ones who suffer with illnesses are made out to be wrong for performing simple self-care, self-advocacy and using the services that we are told are in place to help us with our independence. If we were to stop and consider each individual person's understanding of chronic illnesses and avoid all conflict, then we'd be even more isolated than we already are. No thanks, methinks.

Omg Harlow is so damn cute, smart and funny. What a great dog. Their relationship and bond is precious. I have a service dog as well and I cannot imagine life without her. I have an incredible amount of love and respect for my fur baby and she has helped me become so much more independent and social. I suffer from chronic back pain due to spinal stenosis and arthritis in my spine as well as a bad car accident which tweaked my back even more. I also have Epilepsy, Gastroparesis, Fibromyalgia, moderate to severe Asthma, Anemia, Tachycardia and heart issues partly from being so anemic. I had my labs done the other day and my iron levels are so low that they're undetectable so I have to go get infusions for a few hours each week. It's so painful and frustrating to live with chronic pain and illnesses but my service dog helps me get through it with her unconditional love and ability to always make me laugh. Even on the worst days. Dogs are the best.
I love the connection you have with Harlow she helps you out so much and is super obedient when shes working but you also spoil her with love and toys. Ive seen some service dogs who dont get attention at all. Im a huge dog lover myself and it just makes me happy seeing this❤

You're a strong lady and the way you Care for Harlow and the way Judd cares for you. Its so sweet. Although she's a service dog its great how you let her have her fun time. You really treat Harlow well and it's nice to see that.
So rest, already! You know, the only person you can compare yourself to is yourself. I love your attitude! So many of us have multiple diseases and conditions and it helps to see you and your attitude!

Have you looked into CFS (cerebral spinal fluid) leaks. With ehlers-danlos and our flexibility my doctor looked into it, because of my headaches. He said they are common for normal people, but people with POTS, MCAS, and EDS, like me, they are more common. It might be something to look into :) I hope you feel better and I am wishing Harlow a Happy Birthday 😀💖🐶 Stay positive even, though it is hard sometimes 💖
Kelsi Wise, I have chronic migraines but have also had a CSF leak after a medical procedure. A CSF headache is, by far, the WORST headache I've ever had in my life!! I wouldn't wish one on my worst enemy. The only plus side to those is that they don't hurt nearly as bad if you lay flat on your back without moving.
Honestly I just saw her yesterday and I can't stop watching her she's awesome YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!😀😀😀

One of my chemo nurses hooked me up with a lady at our Sonora Regional Hospital an now I go for acupuncture which has helped my headaches to be few and my hands are on the way back to normal.

I have a feeding tube because I was born without my kidneys so I had a kidney transplant 3 times and that mean I take a lot of medication and get some formula in it and I am only 11 years

Jaquie, I just wanted to say you help me so much during when I'm not feeling well. I had low calcium, and that led to muscle spasms, and they return, and it's helpful to have something to focus on when I'm sort of out of control, and something to calm me down instead of leaving me to my own thoughts.

I've come over your channel and it's so inspiring to see someone with so many chronic illnesses still being able to get up and do vlogs! It seems when you have a bad day your dog gives you that little happy push to go on with your day, even though it's just for napping and giving her food and fix your meds. Also, I would be so sad for having to have a feeding tube as I love the taste of food way too much! So I just have to say you rock! and even if you can't do all the chores one day you can all ways take one at a time, one at a day. I've lived trough the saying "one day at a time" for many years now and it helps to make small goals for yourself. You've probably heard these before so imma shut up now xD
but I have to say it once again: you rock!
