I'm curious if they will do either Germans or the Cold War US Soldiers for Indy to face off against or not given how it could be controversial. It would be super cool to get Indy in his soldier disguise with a rocket launcher

I hope they do. I feel like it might be okay as long as they don't have actual Nazi or KGB references. The new Lego Indy Plane Chase set has a minifigure with an accurate Nazi air force uniform. The 2008 line did Germans and Russians. And people say they think Disney won't allow it but they're one of the only companies (or maybe the only one) to release Indiana Jones toys with actual swastikas on them

@@joevictor53 of course they will......They released a Gestapo officer complete with the black leather jacket draped over the shoulder AND melting head. I'm sure the other German officer with the melting face should be coming out too.

Map Room Indy is a must. Wish it wasn’t a Target exclusive here in the States.
As an 'all my life' Indy fan, I'm absolutely enjoying this line, despite some of the infuriating design decisions (looking at you, whip holder soft plastic peg on main Indy) and I intend on picking up every figure Hasbro gets around to releasing. Although, I am pretty disappointed at the possibility of not getting any real punchable bad guys, or Mola Ram, but fingers crossed.
Also, the Gridiron Studios adventure pack, which is on sale right not, is a great set of replacement pieces for the mainline Indy.
Mola Ram would be an instant buy for sure.
Seeing the reveals at Celebration really has me wanting to get into this line. That two-pack with Belloq won me over, seeing as he's my favorite Indy villain and that's a more 'standard' look for him than the one in the first wave.
So far they've revealed or announced most of the characters I'd want to see get made, I think of all the characters/variants they have yet to do, my top pick would be Marion with her Nepal appearance, that one I think is the most interesting.
I do think some soldiers for Indy to fight would make for a really popular army builder, even beyond collectors of this line. Granted, I know that's probably not going to happen for obvious reasons.
For me, this line is pick and choose. I already got raiders Indy and I must say he is a favourite, that’s why I’m going to pick up more Indy’s; temple of doom verison, club obi wan, crusade, and professor. I also plan to pick up Henry jones sr. When he shows up. Call me a fan of kingdom of the crystal skull bit I would love to get Mutt Williams as well. Crystal skull is still Spielberg’s work and feel it deserves just as much attention as the other movies, otherwise it be disrespectful.
I hope Hasbro buys the Blade Runner license and produce 6” figures

I find that these Indiana Jones figures are more true 1/12 scale and scale more with the imports (Mafex, Figma and SH Figuarts) than the domestic figures including Hasbro’s other lines. Also they need to add more villains to this line: Elsa Schneider, Mola Ram, Colonel Vogel, etc.
Ngl, you’d think “Oh how can they make so many Indy figures, he isn’t like a superhero like Spider-Man with so many different suits or variants.” But then you look closely in film and he has LOTS of outfit variations and they’re all so seamless. Hell, they could make a “No ticket” with his tight shirt Indy figure 😂
That’s what I was worried about. We may only get 5 indy from each movie with his iconic jacket and hat, but the Hasbro pulls EVERYTHING! The adventure look, the adventure look with the temple, Club Obi-Wan, Map room, “Ahh Venice”, damaged bridge scene, Nazi uniform, streets of Cairo, possessed, Dr. Jones, Bangkok, etc. it’s amazing! Love these different variation of outfits and even accessory Indiana has alongside him. They could also have unhat Indy or Marion’s Bar Indy with his jacket zipped up half way. Finally giving us Indy and younger generation Indiana Jones content when we had a drought essentially. Even with side characters like Sallah and Marion with her dress, bar, and Cairo outfits. One bad thing, it makes the wallet cry 😂
I wish the professor Indy was the one from Raiders with glasses because then he would go with Marcus from that movie. Also, they could release the two army intelligence guys together and you could do a setup of the four figures. I think that would be cool, but probably not gonna happen; then again we did get Marcus.
It definitely makes sense that they are going so hard into the variations for Indy. We won't be seeing Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones again - if we get more of Indy (played by any actor) after Dial of Destiny. They are making the most of the likeness rights while they have it. Since they generally don't make Indy toys unless there's a movie, I don't think it would be out of line to say this might be the final time we get action figures of this magnitude for the Indy franchise.

I think all of these look amazing, I also kind of want map room indy and sallah to use as tatooine or jedha background characters

Love these figures! Definitely gonna be a completionist in this line.
Every Indy should come with an alternate pair of fists. He’s a brawler and constantly throwing wild punches throughout the movies so we shouldn’t have to buy multiple Raiders Indies for more sets of fists but that’s what we’ll have to do. Everything else about this line is just fantastic, it’s the same ideas from the start of black series, just making the most iconic characters and looks for the characters but with their modern articulation.
Cheaper to make, higher to purchase.. gotta love Hasblow!

I just recently picked up the original Indy and I love him, I can't wait for the professor version. I think I'm going to pick more up but I may wait until they're discounted since I don't think this is a line that will last years with the amount of figures coming out so quickly
I’m wondering how much of the line can be used for black series customs…The line looks good but I can’t afford another one to sink $ into. Another banger vid though, great to see em all side by side and with your thoughts.

I was curious if you ever tried swapping the Figrin'Dan hands to see if the peg is compatible. I can see the map room Indy being a good Jedi outfit in a way. So much custom ideas with the adventure series.
these are brilliant figures, what was always needed.
If they plan on finishing this line within this year, then they have a long way to go. A lot of side characters haven’t been announced and honestly they are wasting spots by having so many Indy’s at the beginning like professor Indy, Hypnotized Indy, summer vacation Indy, or taking a nap Indy. Where is Mola Ram, Cairo Swordsman, Willie Scott, or anybody from Crystal Skull? I hate when lines just half ass it and never finish.
I think I there is going to be about 25 total figures in three line with about 15 Indys it seems

It really wucks the plastic is returning ad I have been enjoying the plastic free packaging. Something a lot of collectors appreciate. Less garbage
I was worried my first Indy figure would be disappointing, judging by some complaining the likeness wasn't there,but I'm happy with my Raiders , Professor and Club Obi Wan ,great likeness for such an asymmetrical face lol
I've only picked up Indiana Jones, but I like the figures. He needed a matte spray, but after that he's great! I'm thinking I'll use an Indy head to make a custom Han Solo upgrade.
I'd love to have Indy dressed as a Nazi in the collection like in the prologue of the Dial of Destiny

Thx for the reminder - I’ve just ordered the Tomb Escape from Indemand Toys. 👍. The faces on these figures are quite good - so if it’s the same Hasbro team why do they come up short in faces for the Black Series?

I threw away the alternate head for my Legends Classic Loki. I thought I was the only one to have done something like that, thank goodness they're going back to plastic!
With exception to a few QC issues/poor design elements like the size of Indie revolver and his whip holder this looks like a good line, however 25 characters have now been revealed and yet still no uniformed Nazis, Thugee cultists, Lao Che and sons or Cairo henchmen which should be to an Indiana Jones line of action figures like Darth Vader and Storm troopers are too a Star Wars line of action figures. "I have a bad feeling about this" that we're not going to get them due to Disney's/Lucasfilms overly PC policies these days. Willie Scott is suspiciously absent also, nothing to do with her 'damsel in distress' portrayal would it? Just look at the Star Wars lines (rebranding of Slave 1, and no more Slave Leia or Oola and its why we will never see a Comic Mandarin in the ML series). Giving Hasbro the benefit of the doubt I kinda get all the Indies as this is the line trying initially to make as much money as they can from the repeat tooling, but spreading out the various Indies in different waves would have made more sense so I suspect its more to do with releasing as much as possible to capitalise on the new movie, which may tank at the box office killing this line dead in its tracks, but regardless of that possibility unless we start seeing the bad guys then this line will always be blatantly incomplete and hamstringed by Disney's ridiculous PC policies.
I'm probably in the minority here but I would love to see a Captain Blumburtt figure. Dressed either in his formal dinner dress or (tropical) campaign uniform. Also, a couple of British Indian Army soldiers armed with Enfield rifles.

How about a figure of Dietrick and Gobler the German soldiers from Raiders of the lost ark and Dietrick a melting head. Maybe an Indy wearing a German uniform near the end of Raiders of the lost ark.

I get that Mola Ram is problematic,but If they avoid mentioning Kali or Thugee on the packaging I would have hoped he could have been a Pulse offering.

If they don’t make a Willie Scott why did they even bother with the line!? All jokes aside, this line is wining me over a lot after seeing the reviews. I don’t really have shelf space for a new IP so I might be more selective with which figures I get. But i do really want a Willie, that wasn’t a joke.

That stinks about Ra headpiece and staff. Good warning for the rest of us. Hasbro did the same thing with 4” line. I think they are on a tear to release as much as possible. I’m also convinced Lucasfilm/Disney has limited the amount of bad guys Hasbro can make due to avoiding negative/controversial response from the 1950s radio serial style foes Indy faced. Prepare for more than half of the offerings to be Indiana Jones.

My concern (and I know it’s still early) - no Germans. No real villains yet other than Belloq and Donovan. No Willie Scott. I’ve heard rumors that they won’t make Mola Ram at all. Just a rumor, put the tomatoes away. 😂 But every conceivable Indy already. 🤷🏻♂️
If they seriously don’t make Mola Ram then this line is a failure for me, he is arguably the most iconic and recognizable villain in the Indy movies
