Thanks for the great review, very helpful. Just a question about the bushings. After poking around their website, I see a lot of options for bushings. Can you recommend the specific bushing to get to reduce speed wobble? Thanks
Riptide 93a -96a krank Barrel bushings but it all depends on your size and weight, riptide has a chart on their website, but if you’re like me over 200lbs 93-96a bushings are going to give you a stable ride. But get a few of them in different sizes to test out what works for you! Thanks for checking out the channel make sure to subscribe for more content
Hej! Great video? Which one do you think is better? Wogo 2s Max or Veymax cejour? And why? As i can see they very simular to eachother but the Veymax is more waterproof. What du you think?
I’ve reviewed the Veymax x4s and they both feel Very similar, the Veymax does offer lights though which is a nice feature. And has sealable wheel selection
@@STXRS253 check out my channel there are tons of reviews I’ve done, but in the $500 categories you have a lot of Hubdrive options, but if you spend a little more you get into the belt drive area, Tynee, meepo envy, acedeck s3 all of these will last longer and generally feel better on your feet. If this is your first board check out my channel on first time buying and what the difference is between everything in talking about
Hello, thank you for the video! i just have a worry about the brakes.. i read that whenever the downhill is steep or you brake for a long time, the brakes shut down. i just bought it and i'm afraid if i go fast on downhill that the brakes fail
No the brakes will only stop working if you have a 💯 charge. The reason is because you are charging your battery while breaking and once you have a 💯 charge I don’t let you charge any more and your breaks won’t work anymore. So if you’re planing on going down a REALLY REALLY long hill make sure to drain some of the battery before you head down. This is true for any eskate btw not just this one
@@DrewElia ok, but what if the skate a has regenerative + dynamic? then it doedn't need a full charge because the dynamic always works? or is it only regenerative on the 2s max? thanks for the fast answer🙏
Really great review on the Wowgo 2s Max. I've been eyeing this board for quite some time now but haven't pulled the trigger because one, I'm like 240 lbs and two, I'm 50 years old. Do you mind telling me how much you weigh? I keep thinking maybe I'm too big for the board. That's been my biggest concern. Thanks man.
I’m 220 lbs! This is a great starter board, there are other boards out there if you check out my reviews on the channel as well, just know that us heavier riders get less range and speed as well!
@@DrewElia Oh, wow. I don't know how I didn't get your response until now but better late than never I guess. Yeah, I ended up watching a few of your videos and decided on the 2S Max and am loving it. I'm still learning so I didn't think it was feasible buying a board like the Meepo Envy to start out which is like 700.00. I paid 389.00 for the 2S Max when it was 409.00 plus a 20.00 dollar discount code. Like I said, I'm really loving the board. Take care, my friend. 👍
I'm wondering if there's any noticeable durometer differences between official 105mm Cloudwheel Donuts and the knock-off Donut designs for older hub motors? (WowGo/Meepo) Considering one uses a metal core that is?
Hi! Would you recommend this or the era v2? I like the new era because it’s very sleek and more portable. All the other specs don’t matter TOO much because I’m light (~130lbs) and I’ll be using it for college.
Oh that’s tough! The ERA 2 is way more stream line cleaner looking stealth looking. the WowGo 2s max has better battery in it and the ability to swap out the wheels. Plus a flex deck so it feels like a long board! What are you looking for, a light weight portable crusier?
I don’t plan on switching the wheels out so it’s not as big of a deal for me. I do want something that’s lighter, just so it’s easier to carry but I think they both come in around the same weight. I do like the softness/roundness of the max but the battery does feel a little chunky haha. My school has a decent number of roundabouts so carving but feeling stable is a priority. I’ve also heard some people say that the max’s braking and acceleration is jerky? I hope that helps I kind of rambled haha
@@jasmine408 it’s a hard choice. They both are great choices ERA is stealth not the biggest battery but that’s the trade off. WowGo has the flex deck. Plus the WowGo has great power. It’s smooth and plenty of power to get you up hills,
Hi, I'm pretty much a beginner and I'm waiting for the board to arrive, so I have one question regarding the bushings. What did you mean when you said "to crank down" the bushings because they are too weak? What can we do about it if we don't decide to swap them with other bushings, as I don't really know how to do that? :)
Super simple on the bottom of the trucks there is a nut, the company provides you with a skate tool looks like a “T” one of the ends of that tool fits the nut, I would just give it a few turns not over tightening but enough so that when you carve back and forth you don’t have any wheel bite, which I explained in the video. If you choose to swap out the bushings the company called riptide makes after market ones that allow you to have different firmness. If you have found my channel helpful please subscribe I have more content coming out and more reviews as well!!
@@DrewElia Thank you for your quick response and also for the video. I found it really useful! I'll definitely try this out and will share my thoughts afterwards. These style wheels are not soft. They definitely are a harder material compared to cloudwheels. It’s more of just a “look” than replicate.
