maurice fitzmaurice is probably the best known contractor in Kerry for a few reasons number one is without doubt they are at silage and contracting the longest in Kerry one time they had a fleet of newholland combines. they started land drainage and knocking ditches with a 990 red david brown which they still have they had 4-wheel drive tractors and engines fitted to trailed harvesters when everyone else had single chops pulled by ford 2000

They have 3 695s had 2 going flat out in the 90s . They also had 2 self-propelled mowers one was a jd and a claas

Lol I remember picking up 20 foot rows full time and headlands in 30 foot Swarths 30 years ago with a 690 jaguar and 695 jaguars.
Must have picked up 10,000 acres and moved on to to smaller 5830 John Deere and honestly the Deere was better than the Claas
