Cheers for that You Tube lesson! I always use the slider thing to rewind bits - and often have to repeat doing that over and over before I am sure on some line call for many sports. Frame by frame rewind - just the job. Thank you!

You are right, no blocking equals no scoring. Skilled blockers are every bit as important as great jammers. Same example took place in a different sport this Feb. KC was missing 2 starting lineman, you can ask Patrick Mahomes how that ended up!!
30:59 VRDL uses their Official Review (OR) as a Team Time Out (TTO). In the commentary, it's explained that TTO is for 30 seconds. Is this a rules revision?

The announcers and segments do a great job of explaining the game. If you need a 101 real life derby this is a good one.
As a junior player in Britain, it's really nice to see some flat track derby on such a high level! I'll keep an eye out for more!!

Yeah, the derby you knew as a kid was scripted like entertainment wrestling. Modern derby is an actual sport.
