@@jimmytaaffe Cutting the green wire makes a pretty substantial difference. As far as I’m aware, cutting it does not negatively effect battery life. But hey, if you’re enjoying it as is, that’s all that matters 💪🏻
Great review and you are so right. Customization is addicting but the bike is so great. People also get caught up in speed but that is not for everyone.
Thanks Gregg! Don’t get me wrong, going fast(er) is fun, but this bike in stock form is beyond impressive. Like you said, top speed isn’t for everyone 🤝
I’m beyond obsessed with it. Just need it to be spring so I can ride without 5 layers of clothing lol. Definitely worth the investment. You’ll thoroughly enjoy it!
I really want a ....Talaria, I feel like they're taboo to talk about, especially on a Surron video. I'd be happy with a Surron also no doubt. The problem I have is, I'm in the UK and I just feel like I'd get pulled and have it taken off me instantly, and that's a lot of money to loose.
I was torn for a while between the talaria sting and the Sur Ron. For me, the Sur Ron had better aftermarket support and the sellers had fantastic reviews (LunaCycle). I think either way you go, you’ll enjoy it!
@@SVTEvan all good! I actually like the stock headlight since it shines in such a way to prevent blinding people coming in your direction. I find a lot of aftermarket headlights don’t have that feature (but I am open to suggestions! Still looking…)
All the range and speed tests are for a 150 lb. Rider.... That being said, dial in ur suspension and don't hit jumps u know will push the limits. After that. Ride!
NICE WISKEY!!! Had to rewatch it about 6 times XD I like the pace that you talk at, alot of other bike guys I speed up the video. Keep it up man!
Hahaha yeah I did myself dirty 😭 I appreciate the kind words man 🤝
absolutely agree... at least for me.
I think many people share the same opinion, including myself. Just don’t ever see anyone really give this bike the praise it deserves in factory form.
@@SVTEvan Honestly, I haven't even cut my green wire yet. I use my bike to explore abandoned areas of the rust belt so I don't need speed at all.

Just ordred a brand new sur Ron light bee x 2023 phantom “purple” one all the Way from austrich to denmark can’t wait for it to come!
Congrats man! You’ll love it 🤘🏻
Hell yeah bro I can tell you really like that bike. I’m saving up for myself atm.

Great video! I use the Ron to commute to my jobs. Both are within 3 miles of my house.
Thanks Ninja! That’s the perfect commute right there 👌🏻
I really want a Sur-Ron ❤
They’re awesome man! Keep grinding and you’ll get one soon 💪🏻
I also whiskey throttled it the first time I rode it, and I have a few other ebikes but none with as much torque as the surron.
I was taken away (ha… literally) by the torque!

Hey man! Speaking of the headlight I think yours is on upside down ;)
Hey! Welp, that’s embarrassing 😂 Thanks for pointing that out!

Smaller sprocket😊😊😊
Been thinking about the 54t sprocket but worried about losing top end speed
@@SVTEvan smaller sprocket gives you more on the top end larger gives you more off the line
can i ride that bike i am 240 pounds
Yes. I believe it supports up to 300lbs
