In today’s Pokemon TCG Live video i rank the best decks in the stellar crown format for Joinville
& Dortmund regionals this weekend!
Music Used in videos now credit goes to: GlitchxCity: / glitchxcity
Ahhh the LDF tierlist! Nice! Another chapter of the "it's not a bad deck!" series!
I am very skeptical that Terapagos ex will go far
It's funny that regidrago has the 3rd highest hp stat in main series yet has less hp than dragapult. I know it's because its a stage 2 and balancing reasons but it still is funny
@@lukayaba4793 also Dragapult is Terra that's a big difference too hence the HP
Terapagos is A tier with or without the Bulls to make it tankier? There is a list with pidgeot going around which I’ve been trying but it doesn’t feel that great to me…
Turbo moon rise up !!!!!!
I 100 percent agree with you on playing dragapult Pidgeot over the dragapult Charizard
Palkia is busted but no one has found the 60. Also the deck is harder to play than people give credit for.
Excited to see the meta start shifting a bit and get more decks in the format
Galvantula not even considered lmao
same thoughts lol hope to see sum this weekend really liking the deck, definitely not optimized yet but still pretty solid
Its a cool deck but I really don't think it has it.
@@hiddenmosaic its all good lotta people sleepin on it, its whatever haha but Im telling you been testing it since it dropped and its not as bad as yall think
@@EZPEO It depends on the variant. Blissey Galvantula is a bad deck. It requires too many basics that aren't poffin searchable to work. I will say that the other variant that plays the Single prize galvantula for your zard MU is pretty decent and underrated.
@@hiddenmosaic naaa, So ive been testing all of em even the one AzulGG made and the Blissey variant with HYPER AROMA is literally the best variant tanky Blissey and aroma sets you up fast af and helps you with the Fulgurite loop, I actually removed the normal grass Galv cause you dont tend to use it much as people who dont really play the deck think and it deviates from keeping Fulgurite going, you dont need it vs Zard if you know how to play it also, puffin literally gets yo Joltiks and Bidoofs... nest ball the chanseys and even then you don necessarily need to get them since you get draw from Bibs you tend to draw em also ifyou take chansey from the prices thats a flip coin away from taking an extra price... so yeah I dont think your take is accurate
Im so sad that tina dropped off. I loved playing Tina Lost Zone when it was good. Lost box is aight to me. Same with Banette EX, that deck also disintegrated
No one is playing lost Tina, but I bet it’s still fine. Pokemon players are like a flock of birds.
@@jmmeye3 I agree, I just play what I think is fun and don't care most times. But I also like to get better, so understanding what is seen as good and why is important as well. Tournament and casual play are two different worlds, it's all about what you are facing and how often. If I enjoy tina online, that's well and good, but in tourney, I'll probably struggle against either faster or more scaled decks.
Briar should be banned fr. toxic card
Ya, that always felt like a horrible card inclusion by all standards.
Dialga Vstar has the best Vstar ability in standard. Taking an extra turn is amazing. Pair Dialga with Metang and you can one shot Dragonpult, Charizard ex etc.
It's not a D Teir deck just because it's not played on a large scale. That just makes it under-rated.
Idk why you hate raging bolt so much lol it is absolutely a tier. It is performing better than terapagos decks all over the world
Is Terapagos just better than Zoroark Vstar in this meta ? Attacking for 280 turn 2 is has been pretty consistant / 330 with max belt to 1 shot Charizard / Pult
My boy conkeldurr always getting disrespected smh.
Also, drago has been performing better than pult has. This tier list is just not accurate if you look at tournament results
If you’re expecting a lot of zard Dengo farms zards, would be my go to right now
I was gonna be grumpy about Miraidon but it’s on the same tier as palkia and I agree that there are some brick starts but it also has the highest donk potential in the format so ehhh I do love the area zero damage buff though
Depending on the Terapagos build, it can comfortably go 2nd & still pull out games
great video would've been better if you made it look more grainy and hard to read i think i was almost able to recognize a card on the list.
I think you need to play some terapagos ex to see how it feels. I have seemed to beat it everytime on the ladder but I think that is because they are trying to work out the best lines like you said
I think Toedscruel should be at least part of the tierlist
Charizard will be the best deck in the format
It's all about Pidgeot ex
The Lugia deck is so goddamn consistent. I've made a few adjustments to it, and I'm not playing in actual tournaments lol, but ranked standard on PTCGlive I'm currently on a 20 win streak with it. Obviously, way different ball game, not even possible to do that in tournaments, but nevertheless it's just wild how good Archeops and Lugia VStar work together, it feels nasty.
What’s the sauce?
3841 Ernser Way
Imo Terapagos is the most overrated deck in the format right now. You can do some neat tricks with Dusknoir, but at the end of the day your damage is capped at 240(220 with DTE) and that is not what you want when the best decks out there have mons with 240-330 HP. (Side note: I think it’s so dumb that they restricted Terapagos from attacking first going second). I do like the bulky variant with the Bouffalant and Penny’s, as it actually makes Terapagos a threat because it’s much harder to KO, so you can more safely two-shot everything. The Pidgeot build is neat but also slower. Also keep in mind that the Japanese format, as well as most online tournaments, are best of 1, which heavily favors a deck like Terapagos, which is why I think it’s been performing so well despite its shortcomings.
I agree that it's stupid it can't attack second, but I also will say that it is very fun to play with a dusknoir build because it just feels like if you get a little start it can get going and just be great.
Bota tera and galvan are garbage dude, i tried, really tried, but all i got was losses lol. Decks like miraidon ex (tera), dragapult, charizard, moon, are waaaaay better. Moon turbo(my own version) is crazy, i skyrocketed the ladder with it.
Baby Bolt w/ Charm gives Terapogos ex problems lol. Trap something, remove stadium, snipe bench, and tank.
@@frameandi yeah there’s several ways to check Terapagos that I don’t understand how it can be viewed on the same level as Zard, Pult, and Bolt…
@@perplexedsandwich2183 there's a ton exploits in the archetype. The weakest of the 3 main area zero decks, imo. Palkia can at least do stuff and hit harder and Miraidon can turn 1 going second donk.
The lack of klawf
Hydrapple SS tier
First
Where’s my Klawf deck :(
It's cooked unfortunately. 😕 I wish spicy curry stayed in the format another year.
11:02 I'd argue Crispin is probably more of an improvement to Dragapult than crystal
I’d say both helped the deck, both let the deck accelerate into an early attack, but Arven hitting both crystal and a rare candy can be more impactful if you have that card in your hand. Crispin helps if you already have both the dragapult and rare candy in hand. Which makes Crispin a little less consistent but more helpful if you’re setting up multiple dragapults
Disagree crystal is a lot more important
why are there so few US regionals this season?
There are still two more that they are going to announce.
Cenderace is pretty good
People have been mad disrespecting noivern,, with a lot of big basics and being able to stop stadiums, it does kind of disrupt a lot of decks. Seen it pop up in a few online tournaments and pretty sure it won one too
BIG YAWN***
Matt, I don't think anyone takes you seriously 😬
Why do you say that? He plays a lot and follows the competitive scene. You can agree with him or not on some choices but more or less the placings if I disagree are one above or below.
@@mazinrobox2546 Someone who walks around in a spiderman costume and thinks it's normal is not ok 😬 Matt is just freak ...
What about Hydrapple EX? Do you this deck can be one of the competitive deck?
It’s basically a tighter Bolt list that relies on an item instead of a supporter, but has to play twice the energy to get to the same power level
No
I love my Hydrapple ex deck, but as @soulsurvivor14 said its like a raging bolt that can't attack first turn and needs more energy.
