I used to not believe in god because of everything I went through. Flatirons Church had such an exciting way of letting me know that He exists. Thanks flatirons. 😇
People have something to complain huh? We all have a specific way to speak to god. He didnt preach us that this is the only way to connect to him. These musics are uplifting the soul.. so yeah this is one way to talk to the people who needs god. Because if dont speak to the people who needs someone to lift them up.. there would be no one else to talk to god.
Hey guys, just curious to understand how your church functions. Are these songs that you perform during worship? What is the philosophy? Please let me know how I can reach out to you guys; we can have a private conversation regrading the same! But you guys are really goodddd!!!! Love from India :)
@@blessingrjossy15 I wanted to try to explain as the "religious community" calls it secular music in the church, Jim inner twines the message with the song as stated before, but also as he explains(there is a video where he explains the music). Paul when he would go to Rome would use the modern day philosophers "stars" and their words to help identify and put his message forward. Jim uses the modern day philosophers "stars" in the same way. The "world" is looking for something, it's in their words/songs. Jim just says "come and see." We at FCC make an environment where one can bump into Jesus and work it out, with a "ME TOO" family to support you. ua-cam.com/video/GegILsppRlI/v-deo.html
I am like Blessing Jossy. I am interested in how y'all decide on music to play. I have heard of churches playing secular music prior to service starting to try to "warm up" the visitors that may not have ever heard a praise and worship song. Do y'all play these songs prior to service or during service and what is the thought process on this. Thanks so much for responding to me.
Every service has a special song that may or may not go toward the message. We still do worship music though. I attend this church so that is how I know
Thanks Michael, Jim explained it perfectly. I understand now better why. I know there are a lot of people that don't like it. I for one don't know how I feel about it but I will NEVER speak against something no matter how unorthodox it may seem to me if it is drawing people closer to God.
Michael, is the bald guy that I see in many of the videos playing lead guitar and singing still a part of the praise and worship band?? The last few videos show almost a completely different group.
The preaching is on point. The dissecting secular music (2 songs about self & not God) and picking out parts to make a motivational song is cool but keep that outside the church , that's not right. I attend on Sundays and love the worship...but this song and a few others these past few weeks have really made me wonder why? And is this really want we want in the body of believers to become acceptable? Let's take into thought the book of Revelation & the church of laodecia. Grace&Peace
jayo - the warning from John in revelation about the lukewarm church was more than likely because they were a wealthy port city and the emperor of Rome at the time Domitian put out a decree to worship and bow down to him only or you could not work or do business. Jews were pardoned in most cases as were Christians in some parts as they came from Judaism. But Domitian's decree hit this city and a lot of the people in the church were bowing to him so they continue commerce and not lose money. If they didn't, they could not buy, sell or do business. So for the sake of money they denied Christ. My perspective is that playing music in a church from artists, asking good questions doesn't really fit well into this scripture reference. I feel like some of Davids psalms are far more selfishly pointed than a lot of the songs they play at Church but God has given us those words to ponder as well as we journey and learn about Jesus's scandalous Grace.
Laodecia was about a lot more than than. I'd encourage you to examine the first century body of Messiah.my opinion remains and I definitely disagree with Jim on secular music given my friends in the industry & Lucifer's position before the fall. We're still all believers at the end of the day and I still like Jim's preaching. Grace & Peace.
The artists who wrote this music are satanist, why bring this into the church? Tell me how this is advancing Gods Kingdom or representing Jesus playing music written by people who do really bad things? Is this really aligned to the Bible? It’s your freedom to do as you want and I’m not trying to be a Pharisee but please consider this in your role. Thanks.
Do you really think you're going to heaven by being this negative and judgmental over others and others music? Maybe you should look in the mirror before you talk about anyone else or the bible. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged"
This artist actually got sober and is helping others. Went through he'll and was saved. Check out his life story then the music will make sense. I fell and God picked me up using people like this in my life. I'm forever greatfull. God works in mysterious ways my friend. It might not be a message for you but it could be for another.
It's amazing how they're voices sound so similar to the original artists.
Shhh there Angel's 🙏🏽
This artist is singing about recovery. Being saved. A lot of us are going through it. I think it's perfect. God is in all things.

Antonio Junior Jesus even called out the churches, so yes. This music is satanic in origin I’m just trying to warn others.
Sarah Frazier Marshall Mathers aka Eminem is a luciferian
