As per Yuma Religion tradition there are 9 types of mantras(mundhuk)viz-
1.Mangyaming Lahyo Phenyak-the mantra chantation done before the starting of prayer in the Manghim(Temple)to drive away all evil thoughts from our mind.
2.Nee Mang Neem Mangpo Mangwa A-the chantation done before starting of prayers to achieve success from the Mang(God).
3.Ya ming Kubehyang Hukwa-done before taking food.
4.TimTim Para Tum-the chantation done while counting of rosary beads
5.Hing Sum Mukee Hingmuk Seplo-the Mantra to safeguard the physical body from evil spirits
6.Ne Ne Ne Ninam,Lehing Nenam Min-the Mantra chantation done before sleep at night
7.Hingna Sahing Yem Huh Ro-the mantra chantation done after rise from bed in the morning
8.Ne.. Own Sang Me-the mantra chantation done while lighting of oil lamp in the Manghim or altar
9.Ne own,Ne Su Ing Nee Nam-the Mantra chantation done during Meditation.
It is through chantation of these mantras,the embodiments of three powers in humanity viz-
1.Hing Mik-the power of holding on to life
2.Lung Mik-the power of Soul
3.Kukhap Mik-the power of physical body gets strengthened and help us connected with the Goddess Yuma Mang and the supreme goddess,The Tagera niwaphu Mang to accomplish sound health,prosperity and life longevity.
