Dude I also have to compliment the video itself and the editing, you made a real effort and it is fantastic. As for the sound I definitely prefer the arrow without the baffle, I am thinking about buying a triple, I love everything about your bike.
What a great video! Thanks for taking the time to make that. I have a 2012 and am thinking of changing out the exhaust. Most of us wouldnt know what to expect until we spend the cash, now we do.
Hey Mate, fantastic effort. Had a ST3 for a while now, always loved the unique sound it makes but this has convinced me to go down the Arrows path. Outstanding video structure and presentation.
OMG !!! your freaking bike sounds orgasmic with out the baffles ! thank you for making the perfect exhaust video !! you put them all in the video and put out different scenarios, thank you so much !!
Now that's how an exhaust comparison should be made! The Arrows without the baffles sound like a freaking ferrari. I hope that's the setup you're running.
good comparison in this video. i was just riding the street triple and imo the most enjoyment comes from the airbox sound when you accelerate. you dont rly need a louder pipe on this (my opinion)
I love hearing other ppls triples! I never hear mine except from the drivers seat haha! Love the look of the arrows, just can't justify the cost for the small power gains and minimal sound change IMO.
Nice vid. You've shown us just what we want to know before splashing the cash. Did you notice any performance difference when switching between pipes? I bought my STR brand new 2 months ago. Finest machine I have ever slung my leg across in 30 years of motorcycling. And it's British.
Thanks for the comments. Hope the video is useful for people considering the Arrow exhaust for their Street Triple. Baffles are currently out as I think it sounds much better, although it is quite loud on the bike and tends to drone in the 4 to 6K rpms. Baffling that great sound just seems wrong somehow. I might play around with drilling more holes in the baffles to bring the tone closer to baffleless but not quite the volume on the bike.
I plan to buy a STriple soon and i'm looking for some exhausts that could fit with it. For the moment I have to admit that those Arrows look and sound great. But the Arrow low boy seems to be pretty good, and change the back-end of the bike, making it lighter (visually as well as for the weight). Moreover, the LeoVince system looks good to (not as much as Arrows though) but sounds really sportier. I just don't know if it would be tolerable for the rider and the environment :p
THANK ! its better than all videos , here, you can ear all type of sound, quickly and clearly! but like all of the videos , the message is : BUY AN EXHAUST !! AND FIRED THE DB-KILLER !! lol
2 weeks until i can ride my street triple :) it has the arrows and taking the baffles out right away. Its too loud for the old man on long trips and did give him a ringing in the ears. Also be aware its not legal in AUS without baffles as it exceedes 90dps Dont forget arrows are designed for the triumph bikes. your local triumph dealers will provide a computer re-program to match the new exhuasts so you can be sure it is gaining a little more power and better sound and SAFE to Use.
Great job on the video and thanks for going through the trouble of doing this. I'm guessing from your username you owned an SV previously... if so, what do you love about your S3 compared to your SV?
One of the most thorough and well-done sound comparison vids I've ever seen. Such a sick bike!
I love how it's mostly the tone that changes, not the volume. Doesn't become very obnoxious but does purr very nicely with the Arrows.

As others have already noted: a superb real world demonstration.
Serves as a model for any and all who want to compare exhaust slip-ons.
Thank you! probably the best exhaust comparison video I've seen for years!!
Literally just bought one of these, pick it up on friday. Thanks for the amazing format and style of this video; best ive seen on you tube.
Thank you. THIS is how you're supposed to do an exhaust video.
What a great video! Thanks for taking the time to make that.
I have a 2012 and am thinking of changing out the exhaust.
Most of us wouldnt know what to expect until we spend the cash, now we do.
Simply Fabulous video! UA-camr's take note, this is how you do a exhaust comparison!
Beautifully done video! Thank you very much for taking the time to do it RIGHT!!!

SVmic You are my fav UA-camr. Keep up the good work

love the Arrow without baffles! Nice sound.
This is what a UA-cam video should be. Great video, thanks for posting. Drive safe!
Fantastic comparison video. The best I've seen

Very good video, showing us exactly what we are expecting from a comparison !
Nice video. A lot more useful than just a couple quick revs. When I get a STR I'll definitely be getting arrows, I bet
I love hearing other ppls triples! I never hear mine except from the drivers seat haha! Love the look of the arrows, just can't justify the cost for the small power gains and minimal sound change IMO.
I have the same bike with Arrows. They really sound awesome! Other option that I would put my eye on is Two Brothers.
Really well put together Vid , thanks .

Well done, you should apply for commission from Arrow as I have also just bought a pair from watching your video!!

Absolutely awesome comparison video mate, thanks
very helpful production, many thanks.
Great vid. Unfortunately you uploaded it two weeks after I lost my STR in a road rage incident :( I miss the triple a lot.
No. The bike had the proper Arrow mapping. There has been an updated map done by the dealer since.
this bike sounds fantastic

The stocks sound better than most bikes with aftermarkets on....
great comparison
i just bought a 2011 daytona 675 :) the street tripples are alright
Anyone; I've got a 2011 r model. How come some bikes, same year etc have the round headlights, and others like mine don't?
Great job on the video and thanks for going through the trouble of doing this. I'm guessing from your username you owned an SV previously... if so, what do you love about your S3 compared to your SV?
