Fun fact! That scene where you sit with Loop was originally a bug where the dialogue wouldnt trigger and the two would just sit in silence. The developer left it in the game because "Siffrin deserves a moment to rest."
42:02 can i just say? This is an EXCELLENT joke. I love this little moment so much because when I was playing the game I checked that darned bookshelf nearly everytime I came back to dormont (because I'm crazy like that) and so this darned book became incredibly hyped up for me. "What's it say?!?!?" I'd think. And then I get the memory, and I check the book, and I see what it is an I sit in my chair silently for a full minute with my head in my hands. And then I laugh brokenly. And then I press enter, and I laugh some more because Siffrin is having the exact same reaction I'm having. ... I love this game.
In fairness to the Change God, Mirabelle did get a good Memory, implying she retains some sense of peace/closure even if she doesn’t remember their conversation. But yeah she’ll still have to go through the process of figuring out her beliefs
One full loop, from the meadow to the head housemaiden, is somewhere between 24-48 hours. Multiplying that by the number of loops gets you a good estimate of how long Siffrin has been looping. It can get very sad.
I've been loving how many episodes of In Stars and Time we've been getting! The last episode was packed with so many things happening, but I also really love episodes like this where not much happens, and we can focus more on how Siffrin is doing. That poor little lad is breaking apart. I really loved how - after Sif hit the counter and decided he had enough - Isa immediately went down and joined them on the floor. Isabeau is too good for this world, he's such a good emotional anchor and everyone deserves a friend like him. I'm also glad y'all saw that random Bonnie event. I happened to get it on my very first conversation with Bonnie in Act 4, so I didn't find out until later that that event is completely RNG - some people never see it in the whole game. Needless to say, seeing that IMMEDIATELY after witnessing the King kill them... was not a fun experience. I'm going to leave a spoiler guard for a very gentle hint for an optional event that is really easy to miss. Feel free to ignore the hint and continue playing fully blind. (Spoiler Guard) Next time you're at Dormont, try talking to Isa at the tree before you talk to Loop.
modern sif is changing their discord pfp and setting their custom status to "..." and then proceeding to obstruct all of their friends' concerns get them an intervention
i played both start again and in stars and time after seeing your videos and them and i just finished in stars and time today, it was one the best experience i've had when playing games and i just binge watched your series after finishing the game and today a new episode came out so this is awesome.
2:33 I like the Change God. Not everyone has access to reliable duvine intervention. They are no Palutena, but I take what I can get. So hyped. Also, mask slipped. 5:29 A Gross Up Close Up? Absolutely. Make a meme outta that! 6:58 How his Hat's shadow shifts is a bit disturbing. Was that shadow there, in act 1? 8:02 Truly outstanding, I agree. This channel and Rangugamer are the only ones where I feel characters are _really_ done justice. Especially on the Ghost Trick playthroughs. GJ. 9:39 NEW SPRITE ALERT! Also, pretty dure it's the first time they ever called a party member by name. The third one at most 13:24 I was gonna quote Wayne June, but I forgot the cursed scrolls quote 15:52 This is so good. I love it 23:41 I really hope they aren't doig this to anounce the ending of the game. But if the are then not much to do bout it XD. Loop being opinionated as always 28:18 Ouch. Pretty sad. Darn antimemetics 29:31 Counterargument: You do not taste sugar, and they give you the keynife every time. I think it's a straight blessing 31:35 Man, thisis masterfully written. Rufus had it so good when all he had to do was say Zee Blee Zu Belú. 32:31 *HEARTBEAT* 32:32 I wonder if this is required. Bit sad here. 34:25 Ouch. It wouldhave been a good excuse to confess that he feared for Bonnie's safety. But nope! 35:24 *HEARTBEAT* 35:25 Only a few more, I'd wager, then probably do all of them together 36:19 *HEARTBEAT* 39:21 _Something theme intensifies_ 42:04 LLLLLLLLLLLL. Can we find the traslator's name at least? Please? 48:05 Literally sould just ask. Speaking as an argentinian, avery huggy people 52:13 And they are trusting and close enough that even 10 Heartbeats are not enough to rettle them into speaking 56:18 A very sick edit for this act would be making tbe TRAUMA scene from Ghost Trick with Siffrin instead of The Manipulator, and their friends frozen in time. 59:26 *HEARTBEAT* 1:08:25 Strange
No, the shadow was not there in Act 1. Act 4 introduces shadowed versions of a lot of portraits we've seen before. A few of the shadowed portraits appeared in Act 3, but most of them appear for the first time in Act 4.
Interesting, the Universe belief actually made me think of Daoism, which I wouldn’t really call authoritarian. But admittedly we don’t know much about the Universe belief!
Loop _will_ keep reacting if you continue to show them the Bright Flower each loop!!! My growing despair over you specifically passing over the flower because you don’t think they’ll say anything new, and then deciding to keep showing them _a_ souvenir, but it’s the wrong one?? (To clarify, I only know what they say if you keep trying to give them the flower over and over. You could very well be onto something with the drawing!)
* you remember and forget and remember and forget ... In other words, Siffrin has a terrible memory and is already having to remember a lot. So because they have bad depth perception - losing their eye was a recent after all - and a bad memory, he will keep bumping into the counter.
Fun fact! That scene where you sit with Loop was originally a bug where the dialogue wouldnt trigger and the two would just sit in silence. The developer left it in the game because "Siffrin deserves a moment to rest."
That’s so cool
It was a very effective moment
36:04 everyone else this loop: omg Siffrin you look so tired, are you okay?
Odile, the same as every other loop: yOu LoOk ReStEd
I love her lmao
This time it feels sarcastic

They got Bonnie Jumpscare on the second talk. Wow.
39:10 that hallucination is one of my favorite scenes in the game up to that point

by the time most players finish the game, sif has been looping longer than they were ever traveling with the party in the first place!
As an example, your Siffrin, at loop 49, has been looping for 1-3 months (minus some time from loops that ended early)
....god I got to 99 @phoenixcoffee9343

You got the bonbon cutscene on the second try? Hilarious luck!
is that like really rare? I got it first try when I played and I assumed it was just a scripted event
isatheads are eating GOOD

Sad to be all caught up but glad to have found y'all! I'm enjoying the game and the playthrough
I love this game. Just when i thought I'd see (nearly) everything in it, it crushes me in a new beautiful way.
Literally just finished watching the last episode and was in the beginning of watching Jello Apocalypse's highlights of his game

@@Ruminations09 I see. First time I get a reply before I finish the first round of timestamped comments! They feel like RW Basil portraits tbh ^^
We have reached the Sif is empty point
Great 🙂
Another episode so soon? What a treat!
1:08:20 maybe similar to what's happening with the Wish-Craft books you'd need to learn about colors from somewhere else first? Idk
Such a good episode; I’m in pain
Did we already had (just attack) or it is exclusive for this act?
exclusive for this act!

Sif is just so tired
SO SOON!
Man I feel so bad for Siffrin... Also, is it me or do you have a new skill, ("just attack"?)
Yeah, they didn't notice it, but it appears in act 4 silently.
I do wonder why Sif keeps getting hit with the counter 🤔
Why can't he avoid it like everything else if he knows about it
half blind 👍
* you remember and forget and remember and forget

EARLYY!!! LET'S GO.
