Came out the year I graduated HS. Saw them a million times in the city and Berzerkly. Recently saw a show in SoCal and they still have it. One of my favorites.
This Album is a gem in the bins of Bay Area 90's Punk of which there are so many. If Bad Religion’s rhythm section and Greg Graffin’s deadpan vocals had a love-child with The Clash’s gang’s-all-here call-and-response melodies and vocal harmonizing you would get this thrill of an album
First punk show I went to was swingin utters opening for social distortion after this album came out 1997? I think. They played at the strand theater in providence, RI. Spent so many drunken nights in the little big city of providence like a mini Boston. Great hole in the wall dive clubs at least their used to be.
I first saw this band was at First Avenue in Minneapolis when they opened for the Bosstones in May of 1997. Such a great memory, I can't wait for my kids to go to their first all-ages show at First Ave.
I can't understand why these type of bands aren't way more popular. Lagwagon , millencolin and snuff are so insanely good. but I'm guessing the masses never have a chance to hear them. Green Day and Blink 182 don't have anything on those 3 bands and a bunch more. No use for a name Strung out Do you remember the first time you heard Good Riddance? Jeez whiz!!!!!! I couldn't stop playing them. I'm so thankful to Kevin Angeles. I may never have heard of Guns n Wankers. Best CD ever. The only problem is that there aren't enough tunes on it. I would have just thought that it was a joke or cover band I bet they regret using such a gay name Oh well. Snuff is a better band name.
i saw them in london ontario, they were opening for lagwagon.. the bar was empty when they played other me front and center stage and a few scattered people at the bar and they still rocked to fuck out, opening with five lessons learned.. it was great.. better set than lagwagon too.
Damn seeing these guys in HS was fun. Now you can see everything on youtube. Pretty cool but these kids don't know what it's like to wait for a band to come to town so you can finally see them live.
It’s the finding the hard to get ep's and 7 inches as well as bootlegs that was made not necessary after the internet came...I miss it..I still buy a lot of vinyl and cassettes when I see something good!
Saw them 1997 opening for social distortion at the strand in providence RI. Venue closed like two months after that. After that joined a punk band which crashed and burned typical punk rock story filled with too many drunken fucked up nights. Most punk rock bands don't last and swingin utters are the exception.lol.
one of the greatest punk rock albums EVER!!
agree
AGREED MY BROTHER!!!
Clearly

An album I never tire of. Like, multiple years (decades now I suppose,) ahh, nostalgia.

These dudes are just great
i´ve crossed this road before far many years i´m sure..
Man, Dookie and Chesire Cat were awesome records... one thing we should all agree on is that the 90s was a hell of an era for punk rock music!

DK IS THE BEST PUNK SONG WRITER OF ALL TIME CAME AT ME BRO
My anthem for my 20s being college years in San Pancho!!
They opened for NOFX in Vegas back in the 90s.. to be honest.. swingin utters were better
i saw them in london ontario, they were opening for lagwagon.. the bar was empty when they played other me front and center stage and a few scattered people at the bar and they still rocked to fuck out, opening with five lessons learned.. it was great.. better set than lagwagon too.
I heard NOFX sucks live.
