I remember thinking around this time “why hasn’t this guy blown up already” welp it took longer than I expected but he’s shot out the stratosphere now and it’s been a helluva journey to watch him go from a niche artist to one of the biggest pop stars of this generation. I do miss his dark R&B style but glad he’s found what works and is best for his career and I will continue to rep XO until the end 😌

Amy Winehouse is a pretty good example of that, and as phenomenal as she was, even she couldn't perform up to par.
