That's mainly an issue people dug up to just use as an excuse to bash her even more. And obviously she was wrong for doing so but the same people that cancel her for it probably support many Kpop idols who have done the same/or performed racist acts since its so commonplace in asian ent industries
The issue I have with Fu Yaning is 💯 attitude. She will NOT make it as a Korean Kpop idol with the attitude she carries. If she can’t at least fake humility and kindness, then her chances of succeeding in the Korean entertainment industry is zero.
All she said was "I'm going to make it, you're not" in a funny way. I understand that's not the most likeable comment to make, but its not as bad as everyone puts it. The confidence and energy bursting out of her is great for competition, and Sunmi even gave her the top 9 nominee for her performance.
@@Official-OpenAI it’s not just words, her attitude came through with facial expressions, body language, and words and it was apparent through both episode 1 and 2. It’s okay to have overt (over the top is what I say) confidence in kpop IF you have the skills and fanbase to back it up but she does not have that at this time. She needs to realize that she has a lot to learn still to be able to make it in the Korean entertainment industry and adjust her attitude or she will just be another talented kpop washout.
@@cindih78 I mean they literally cued her to say something to Yujin so it was very likely planned beforehand by the show to create drama. and I'm assuming its mostly the shows editing doing the job of making her look like a bitch by only showing her snarky expressions. Also why are you only allowed to show confidence if you have a fanbase? that shouldn't give you privilege over less popular people
@@Jun-wr3en in the Korean entertainment industry, confidence is fine to a certain degree, arrogance (which is what she was displaying) is not unless you have earned that right. The way you earn that right is to be a recognizable person in the industry with the talent that has garnered respect and devotion from many people. Fu Ya Ning is trying to break into this industry, so disrespecting someone (Choi Yu Jin & CLC) who HAS earned that respect and devotion (but still shows humility) from many people AND displaying an arrogant attitude is a one way ticket to becoming a persona non grata in the Korean entertainment industry.
