I actually managed to get through the main lens of my sony cybershot dsc-n2 after disassembling it. It was kinda easier than I thought because in this video it looks very complex but in reality it's not that hard if you have little bit experience.. I dont have a welding equipment so I watched video for looking at the lens inside. I knew that I needed a welding machine like this one in the video to resolve that glued parts. I was kinda dissapointed because putting the parts back was painful :,)
cuando sacaste el lente , se podia encender la camara??? y que se podia ver? el sensor resgistra alguna imagen? y se puede ver alguna imagen en la pantalla de la camara?
Yesterday i tried to repair my Pentax Optio S1 lense module but I didn't go through to it coz i find kinda hard to disassemble the small parts. I think its easy to buy new lense module and just install it.
I thought that maybe I would be able to clean the lenses by myself alongside watching this video, but this is too complex for me. Also, there is no explanation for what to watch out for, so better if I not touch it at all. :D
I have a very similar Sony DSC-HX5V camera but it still works after 12 years. It seems these cameras are not meant to be repaired. When it stops working it is over. Kind of a disposable camera.
The replacement parts are more expensive than a new camera. The way the camera is built it seems to have an expiration date. If it's broken, this is the end.

Thank you for showing us the failed outcome of a lens disassembly. Now we don't have to try. 😅

why the tape has been cut off when you were to take the lens apart ?
