Marcus, I hear you mention research, research, research, ok got it. But you have not posted any links to what you're reading? I would like to verify some of the things you're saying especially about Faroe Island Salmon. Also, after doing a quick search on the interwebs... I am not seeing the results you're seeing. Mostly just old websites that lack any credibility, dates, publisher info, or anything. I would like to see a link to a site that is a not for profit and end in .ORG preferably. Thank you. :)
Your info is from an almost if not 20 year old article You clearly haven’t read anything about the Faroe Islands salmon as since 2006 the Faroe Islands made some of the strictest salmon farming rule with stuff like banning all antibiotics
I just called sunflower health food store where they sell bakkafrost Samon for $18 a pound they told me it was the closest thing to Wild, they said it's swims in the ocean with some netting around it but it's getting natural food like fish from the ocean is this company different
@@MarcusGuiliano again, BS answer without stating anything but "There's no right way to do the wrong thing!" The salmon gets food pellets made from fresh fish from the ocean and other good ingredients. Fish from vessels like my own father and many other people work onboard.
Almost everything you said in this video was talking about Scottish salmon and implying that by association Faroe Island salmon is the same thing. I just ate some Faroe Island salmon that was good and I wanted to know more about it, my impression is this video doesn't really tell me anything about Faroe Island salmon specifically.
My family owns an organic cafe in Florida. We serve salmon as well. So Faroe island salmon is bad got it. What type of salmon should we be sourcing to maintain organic integrity? (Restaurant Depot) I shop there almost every day, LoL
Baka frost salmon is from the ferroe islands it great quality You want the best salmon raised in water you can drink. At the back of the farm. Mt cook alpine salmon. This guy needs to study his info more
I'm so confused because Faroe Island Salmon is the first one I ate that didn't make me gag and my stomach sick. I stopped eating salmon for about 20 years until I tried Faroe Salmon December 2021 and I didn't have an issue with it.
@@almorgan69 I dunno 🤷. We stopped selling it our cafe though. It’s not worth getting called out on unsustainable and potentially unhealthy salmon meat.
@@ravenskydaisy I'm about to cancel my orders. I am so surprised because it's the only salmon that didn't irritate my stomach. At this rate there will be nothing to eat or drink unless you have your own farm plant your own fruits and vegetables. smh.
There are some high quality salmon farms in the world you. Study this info on this company Mt cook alpine salmon no pollution can eat it everyday with no side effects get your facts strait before you. Give your warnings Not all is bad a handful are still actually the best you can get wild or farmed
Oh great…. I just paid $12 per lb or toxic fish! This is just getting on my nerves. Norwegian farm salmon is full of toxins due to the feeds. What kind of salmon can we eat safely?!!!! Wild sockeye?
Sockeye cannot be farmed and came from Canada. The only thing is Canada industry is a lot of fraud. I trust Faroe Island farmed fish more. Of course, don ever eat anything too often. The benefit from eating salmon, shrimp, or lobster is to have astaxanthin. So you can buy the astaxanthin extract from seaweed instead of getting it through these sea foods.
So what is the best alternative to eat? Wild caught salmon?
Get your facts strait
What particularly are you having issue with?
@@MarcusGuiliano nothing you said in this video was remotely true , sounds like you are being payed by some special intrests

It appears to be standard open pen ocean farm salmon. There's no right way to do the wrong thing!
