As a Chinese, who couldn't even make it the finals, I would say Congrats to my Indian bros for your historical journey. amazing job.
I salute you bro 😎
As an Indonesian, I was inevitably heartbroken. However, seeing India's historic journey to the top was just too good not to be excited for. Congratulations, India! Here's to more spectacular showdowns in the future.
Thank you brother!
I just want to see that 1 dude talking shit about Malaysia losing to India the other day.
Thank you, India needs raising stars not only in in cricket, but in other sports as well, this will give us the boost
Same mas but let's accept it...congrats India.....
@@drkganapathy but still cricket is india's no.1 sport....
I'm Indonesian, but I really think India deserve their first Thomas Cup title. Congratulations India
I am Indian and excited about the win. But, I am even more excited to see the sportsmanship many Indonesian fans are showing in the comment box. Congratulations to both the teams 🙂👍👍
As long it's not losing against Malaysia..they'll hold off their toxicity 🤪
Hope more Indian player follow Kidambi, cool and compose. Stop shouting like European or Denmark players.
You should see how toxic they're talking shit to Malaysia losing to India, while it was a great match. And now they play good cop when they're losing straight set to India.
If you guys decide to make a movie about this Thomas Cup triumph, please consider to cast real Indonesian to fill the role as Indonesian player in the movie, i'd love to cast as Rhustavito, our third MS Player. Ok, i definitely not as handsome and to be honest i'm slightly overweight, but doesn't matter, i'll not appear on the screen anyway
@@biggbro9 as a Malaysian, I agree! In fact Malaysian sport has become so politically toxic that government is no longer really interested in the many good athletes.
As a sports buff, this will go down as the greatest achievement after 1983 cricket World Cup in Indian sports history. 👏
Indeed
There are so many parallels. We were underdogs in 1983 and underdogs here in the Thomas Cup.
Such an apt comparison😍 this was indeed legendary
What a comeback by SatChi and ofcourse Sen. Sad to see that there are many less Indians appreciating the win of India in this Thomas Cup.
Shitty cricket fans will never appreciate
It's hurt me that our team failed to achieve the 15th title to our country, but damn, what a performance from India, it's almost like the whole universe are on their side on this tournament, they are unstopable, brutally awesome. Congratulations India !!
PS : Rankiredy/Shetty mental strength is, to quote the legendary Gill Clark : Sensational !
Man,U guys have been best for decades as your record say's all...ID will be back to its winning day's soon.

Malaysia is a part of India
Love this! I was heartbroken when Malaysia lost at QF, but what a team India is! The mental strength of these guys are out of this world. It was such a joy to watch these 2 countries play. Really a deserving final! Congratulations India, looking forward to many many more amazing matches from you guys!
By reading the comments i felt indonosian people are really good .

History is made! Congratulations to India! An extraordinary win over last champion.
WOW! Clean sweep of the Indonesian mens team. That’s impressive. The Indians really deserved to win that. Congratulations!!

Most exciting Thomas Cup tournament in the recent history and the toughest to win and India came out on top. Wow. Congratulation. (From USA)
Any team can win it... And also india is strong when they really want to win it
How in the world was it the toughest to win when only a couple years ago China came with all 3 MS ranked Top5, or Korea had both MD in the Top5...this year almost all teams came with weird rosters and pairings. Probably one of the weakest TC in the past 30 years
Must be your first time watching thomas cup
@@AACHANNEL9792 So indon not much interested to win isit... hahaha. If lose, just accept it. hahahaha
@@ttruth1822 We have respect for your country, so there is no need to be arrogant by seeking recognition, after all, other countries, even if they are champions, never ask for recognition at all? you are so norak
One bigest proud movement after winning worldcup 1983 .. * lots of Congratulations*
I still feel on days when kidambi is in control he is a beast on operating on a different level compared to any other international player.
Yaa and when he is not - hitting in net 69th time
He have not shown same form after this
Expected much more in wc
Hope come back soon
But pranoy has been amazing since then, and wc pairing is shit, lakshya vs pranoy is atleast semi-final level match.
What an humble attitude, Wonderfull when he honour the loses, with Namaskar and huge. Nmaste India
Outstanding and amazing performance by India. Burst in tears. Superb! New history created 😍. Congratulations India from Malaysia 🥳
My heartiest congratulations to India in winning the 2022 Thomas Cup and creating history.
If you watch the highlights vs Denmark and see how hard they had to fight to get here and win - its simply amazing and makes your eyes water.
From China here… people don’t realize this but India won all thanks to their new headcoach Yong Sung Yoo.. he used to coach China national team and everyone improved immensely with his help. Now India’s Lakshya sen and the team going crazy after acquiring Coach Yoo. It’s heartbreaking for China to lose such a great coach 🥲
He's only lakshya sen coach other singles have indian coach
lol..he is only for lakshya sen coach 😂
@@ttruth1822 my point is, people need to realize that Lakshya didn’t improve thanks to Axelsen’s club. It’s all thanks to the Korean coach
@@musicguy4782 no he got world championship bronze with his father as coach then india appointed the korean as coach now
@@musicguy4782 thanks for the info. Although its partially true
Here after India's loss to Malaysia @CWG 22..
This was win of epic proportions..
Almost 15 years hard work has borne fruit.. this will be very tough to repeat..
Also victory for satwik/ chirag was sweetest after there Olympics faliure despite beating gold medallist in group stages..
From Indonesian, Congrats India! You deserve it. Hopefully next, another country like Thailand, Taipei, Spain or even France have a chance to follow what just India did.

I swear all the Indonesians are screaming right now. When Malaysia lost to India 3-2 all of them were saying Malaysian sombong (ego), balik kampung, go back home, bye bye…..now India swept you all 3-0. No brain Indonesians. Next time stay respectful towards other peoples nation. Keep you heads low. Karma
Sen really surprised me in that singles game, I thought that Ginting had him but he pulled it off, well done.
Well done India!
This fight back from Sen against Ginting is what Momota should’ve been able to do. It looks as though after this Thomas Cup that while both Ginting and Momota are suffering from confidence issues at the moment, Momota’s is more serious. He just can’t handle any opponent with a bit of fight in them at this minute.

I thought sen was done in 3rd set at 11-7.. ginting was playing very well exploiting deep right forehand corner. Amazing fighting spirit from Sen.
Thanks to Axelson's Club, haha
Sen 1st game just throw the game
Congrats India from Malaysia u ppl really great and you deserve to win

Malingsia kapan juara??!!!?🤣🤣
I truly believe India won because of relentless fighting spirit shown by the youngsters. At the highest level, it is more of a mental battle than physical. As some are sayin luck was on India side or Indo were overconfident, just look at the scoreboard 3-0.
Congratulation to India. Your success makes the event more interesting, more inspiring. More different teams get this glory would encourage more other teams to participate in this interesting sport. I voted for India when your team got to final.

Congratulations 🇮🇳, unexpected! 🇮🇩 you did well but this time around 🇮🇳 had strived to win their first ever Thomas Cup. There will be definitely a movie soon like 83 😅. Can’t wait to watch 😀
Absolutely. It has to be taken as a movie!!

Epic come back from Sen, sensational! Congrats India, superb play 👍
gotta admire the fighting spirit of all Indian players, well deserved the champion of this tour.
the men doubble of Indian are such a warrior, they fight until last minute
When you don't take your opponent seriously, Ginting and Sukamuljo and Ahsan thought they will have them in the end taking the foot off the accelerator and could never recover .. well done to India who made the most of the opportunity 👏🏽
What made you think they dun take their opponents seriously laksya Sen is currently better then ginting and india double is top ten

India won their Thomas Cup title on their very first appearance in the final!
But we are not sure if we can continue to improve sports if govt change…. Politicians killed Indian hockey in 1980s… now we are trying to revive all again but politics nd too much of democracy
@@akp3097 current government doing good for indian sports. I hope they continue this enthusiasm and support.

@@francisd3740 recently india banned wheat exports for private companies so govt can keep eye on elites (chonese+American) who hoard grain and only allow govt to govt sell so people in need get food instead of elites but you won’t find it in news in india or western media so they can defame indian govt and use it in election… we are fighting big war in civilized manner to defeat USA influence in india and south asia… only sports are cheering time for us nowadays

All because India got Yongsung yoo the two time Olympic silver medalist and a Korean legend. His coaching skills are on a whole different league. First coaching china’s young prospects to a whole new level, now India and training Lakshya sen to a top tier league and the team. Yoo is really on a whole different league, both as a player and coach.

Wow both country played a very intense matches ! Hard luck to indo and congrats to India for the champ
It was a very tight match, I think it's more like about mental strength, brilliant display by these two and congrats to India!
Congrats for India. But so sorry if you said mental strength. Indonesians are fatigue due to their last games versus Japanese,, cmon man, we also have to admit that japanese team are better and harder to be faced than Denmark's
So i think its also miss calculate from the Indonesian coaches and officials, and also theres physical streght, NOT MENTAL STRENGTH.
With WR #1, 3, and 13 in Denmark not sure how Japanese team is stronger specially with Momota out of form. All the games were super close so 3-0 does not do justice to score line.
indonesian athletes have always been having weaker mental strength since the days of susi susanti and rudy hartono. look at taufik hidayat who has more skills than any other pro players, but always lose to lin dan even before entering the court, even against his junior malaysian counterpart lee chong wei, taufik's statistics was losing 15/23 times.
or look at the sad case of indonesian soccer, the female team lost 0-18 against australia due to being star struck by sam kerr, whereas south korea was able to defeat the australian.
on paper, jonathan was stronger than srikanth, yet he was destroyed in a straight set because he said his team already lost 0-2 to india, he can't focus against a determined kidambi, lol, how could a top athlete allow other matches to affect theirs.
goes to show how bad indonesia's mental training is.
@@marthaantoni5180 not to be rude but it does sound like you're making excuses for Indonesia's loss. India definitely didn't have it easy with Denmark in the semis. In the end the better team won 🤷♀️
In the past, Thomas Cup is predictable of who gonna win because of Team domination and high ranked players. Now it is unpredictable. Every team can be winners, as long as they have teamwork, dedication and passion. Congrats India.

India winning Thomas Cup would means that other nations would be eager to emulate the success of India, be it France, Thailand, or maybe Spain.
I think you're jumping the gun here. Many of these Indian players have won major tournaments before although they've been inconsistent. Where do you have French and Spanish male players winning anything in the individual event? Let alone a team event. Thailand, however, could very well emulate India's success.
