      If you guys decide to make a movie about this Thomas Cup triumph, please consider to cast real Indonesian to fill the role as Indonesian player in the movie, i'd love to cast as Rhustavito, our third MS Player. indonesian athletes have always been having weaker mental strength since the days of susi susanti and rudy hartono. look at taufik hidayat who has more skills than any other pro players, but always lose to lin dan even before entering the court, even against his junior malaysian counterpart lee chong wei, taufik's statistics was losing 15/23 times.
      or look at the sad case of indonesian soccer, the female team lost 0-18 against australia due to being star struck by sam kerr, whereas south korea was able to defeat the australian.
      on paper, jonathan was stronger than srikanth, yet he was destroyed in a straight set because he said his team already lost 0-2 to india, he can't focus against a determined kidambi, lol, how could a top athlete allow other matches to affect theirs.
      goes to show how bad indonesia's mental training is.

    I have to say the Indian players have been working hard and seeing their rise to the top is really refreshing to see other nations besides the Far East dominate. Denmark is strong and hopefully we'll see more countries do well. Having said that, Setiawan and Gideon we're playing... just sayin :)

    India winning Thomas Cup would means that other nations would be eager to emulate the success of India, be it France, Thailand, or maybe Spain.

    • @mdsouz4
      @mdsouz4 2 роки тому +1

      I think you're jumping the gun here. Many of these Indian players have won major tournaments before although they've been inconsistent. Where do you have French and Spanish male players winning anything in the individual event? Let alone a team event. Thailand, however, could very well emulate India's success.
