The 4 Pokemon Trainers: The Squirtle Main: Always leads Squirtle, and has amazing footsies, spacing, and combos. Or so they think. Actually they just spam Fair and feel like a god doing it. Then they die at 40%, not to a kill move, but to Withdraw SD, blames the matchup, and switches to Charizard. The Ivysaur Main: Believes Ivysaur is the most competitive of the three, and is a top tier. Practices Vine Whip setups and confirms into Uair and Dair. Eventually is knocked offstage backwards, switches to Zard to recover, and forgets to switch back. Complains endlessly about the Ivysaur nerf. The Charizard Main: Leads charizard, and has mastered the trick to switch from Squirtle through Ivysaur into 'Zard before hitting the ground from the recovery platform. Shamelessly spams Flare Blitz, because it is Todd Howard's favorite move. It just works. Also has them pivot Bairs down, but usually just uses Fair out of laziness, and doesn't realize how much they rely on Fly's armor. Complains endlessly about the loss of Rock Smash. The Trio Main: Leads squirtle to charge Water Gun, switches Ivysaur to get a Bullet Seed, switches Charizard, and then mashes down-B like a madman. 50/50 odds they are doing it at random to be "unpredictable", or know exactly what they are doing and are constantly setting up frame traps, spacing lures, and conditioning. The end results are about the same. Their signature move is "You thought it was Ivysaur Combo, but it was ME, Flare Blitz!" Incidentally, this is the guy who always goes for jumping on Squirtle withdraws to assert dominance. They're actually pretty good at fighting other Pokemon Trainers, arguably better at fighting Pokemon Trainer than playing as PT.
