Omg thank you so much for this ❤ because I just did my hair and haven’t been going as hard with workouts because I don’t want to sweat out my silk press lol
What do you put on your scalp/hair with a silk press without losing the body, I love it when I get a fresh silk press😊 the body is awesome! But, my scalp gets dry, so I'll put oil on it. I cannot handle dry hair 😩 However, there's got to be something that I could use to keep the body, without weighing it down. Thank you
@@sylviahyatt-gary3063 honestly I don’t add anything to my hair. I don’t when I’m protective styling either. I don’t have a dry scalp tho. I literally just moisturize my hair before styling/ and get steam treatments before silk presses. I deep condition every wash. So I am not quite sure what would work best with a silk press
@AseaMae Steam treatment? I have to ask my stylist about that. See, when I was getting a relaxer, I would oil my scalp at least 2 or 3 times a week. I appreciate the tip on work-out protection as well . Thank you
I will sweat out my roots if I keep it wrapped. My hair will not survive. Putting it in ponytails allows the scalp to keep from getting too wet and it holds the tension while the hair dries.
Thank you for the tips, I haven't had silk press in so long because I didn't want to sweat my hair in the gym.
Using a silk scarf will also help, thanks for the tips sis❤

Thank you for the tips! Plan on trying this method next week. You’re completely natural right? No relaxer or chemicals to manipulate your texture??
You’re welcome! Yep I’m completely natural without a relaxer or chemicals.
Nice but my hair is a bob and cant fit into to buns 😂😂
I will have to try this out!! I need help maintaining mine
Can you keep it wrapped or do u have to put in 2 ponytails?

I just want to know how to keep my edges from curling up the moment I sweat or walk outside, smh.
Do you use a dry shampoo?
I don't with my silk press
Can you use a stocking cap?
Ouu idk about that one. It may lock in the heat from your scalp when you sweat and cause more of your hair to revert.
I wish... would never work for me. Lol 😂😂😂I sweat from my head really bad!!! Whole head be soaked.!!!
