I think a successful season hinges more on Nix showing he is a franchise QB than whatever our record winds up being. Not a SB contender so 6-11 or 5-12 wouldn't be terrible for draft position as long as the record isn't mostly due to Nix struggling

I hear what you're saying about a tough start, but the Broncos are going to have to prove their metal. This is the NFL, there isn't an easy path to the playoffs.
I think that the Seattle game is totally winnable, so too is Pittsburgh, LV, and LA.
It could have been worse. We could be looking at KC, SF, Cincy... that gauntlet is on the horizon as well, but I'm not worried.
I wonder who will be starting... maybe it won't be Bo, but he'll have to start sooner or later.

I would be personally happy, if we have a good defense and can excel in offense, scoring more than we have in years, regardless of the record at the end of the season.
I am a massive Bo fan but, I think we should not put too much stock yet in Bo Nix. Wait until camp starts to see how he is progressing.

@@slightlyaboveaverage2235 He has all my eggs (and one more for a baker's dozen) as well but 1st round QBs only succeed 35% of the time. We have had a poor QB history except for two guys and no good luck since 2015. I feel BO is probably in that 35% but he has not done anything yet. Thus far he has met every task with a great deal of calm, possibly making him one of the best rookies.
I'm really happy ya'll have enthusiasm heading into the season but I do not for obvious reasons. This is a transition season for the Denver Broncos. There was an article posted by someone that stated we have according to them the 30th ranked team as far as talent is concerned in the NFL. Combine that w/ Denver only having 2 prime time games heading into the season shows the NFL knows this team isn't worthy of being broadcasted. The main thing I will be watching this season is the development of Bo Nix, obviously. I also don't have much optimism we start the season well, either. I'm ngl the Broncos might be the easiest under 5.5 games won if I've ever seen it. I'm simply not having any expectations coming into the seasson.

If Bo is who I think he is along with our team rebuild and we are healthy with seans coaching he can grab us 8 to 10 wins
I see them going 3-14 and I’m more than OK with it. Give me that top 10 draft pick next year. Let’s build this team from the ground up. 8-9 isn’t going to help us do that.
Our whole season rides on the first 8 weeks. As a fan I am excited and I believe we can start 6-2 or 5-3 but that is honestly probably not going to happen. But hopefully even if we lose a lot of games we see development and close battles with good teams. If that happens I would consider the season a win. Go Broncos and please break the raiders winning streak.

Tough stretch for Broncos in the first four games - hopefully Nix plays from the start to face the tough defenses
1) Seahawks - play in Washington for ORG vs WAS college rivalry for Nix might be used to noise but not at 12th man level
2) Steelers - R. Wilson homecoming rival and tough Steelers defense
3) Bucs - on the road in Sept humid and hot weather and at 10am - good team
4) Jets - on the road, worried about their turf for injuries, good team especially defense and at 10am (back to back 10am) and in NY humidity
5) next stretch of tough games after facing harbaugh chargers tough nose teams travel on road to saints, short week on TNF, tough environment, and good defense
6) next tough stretch is november baltimore and chiefs back to back on the road and early morning slate then kirk cousins falcons that offense looks scary
7) last tough stretch all conference with good defenses (browns/colts/bengals) and division games (raiders, chargers, chiefs)
well it will be challenge - but really want nix to start and get reps - go broncos
From one corner of the country to another, and then the next in the first 4 weeks and a lot of tough teams on our schedule. It seems like the NFL hates the Broncos 😭 tough schedule pretty much every year for nearly a decade.

I can’t wait to get revenge on Seattle. That was just a painful loss, with a dysfunctional team, washed quarterback, and a historically terrible coach. We still almost had em.
I feel like the Broncos are Wyle E. Coyote chasing the winning record/playoff spot aka. Road Runner. Just when I think that we're going to catch him, the part of the Acme Co. trap door is played by the 2024 NFL schedule. I have to keep reminding myself that this is the rebuilding year.

It would be a huge mistake to start Bo Nix before mid season at the earliest. Historically, an appalling number of rookie QBs were ruined by starting them too soon. Stidham was on the bench learning Sean Payton's playbook last season. Give him the ball, and give Bo the clipboard. Go Broncos!
Like Elway and Manning was ruined eh? In this day and age and at 24 he's ready for the fire. Watching rookie camp he's getting the ball out fast.
@@arickquinton1268 Elway and Manning had horrible rookie seasons. On the other hand, Sam Darnold, Johnny Manziel, Baker Mayfield... Not to mention the long list of Bronco rookies! Desperation is a terrible reason to rush a young QB into one of the most complex offenses the league has ever seen. Especially when you have a promising, but untested young veteran who had had a year to learn the offense. What's the rush?
@@GeeDeeBird My point exactly. You can add countless HOF quarterbacks to the list of horrible rookie seasons. And who's to say sitting is a better option than thrown to the fire. The 90s and 80s are over. Nix is 24 now and ready to win the opportunity to start.

@@LockedOnBroncos Half of those teams are more than beat-able. Who the hell is afraid of the Seahawks? The Cardinals? The Buccs? The fucking Panthers!? Come on now, the only sure loss is at least once to the Chiefs, likely the Ravens and for some reason we can't beat the Raiders - hopefully that trend will change. A lot of games are on the road but that's the way it goes sometimes.

It get’s frustrating for us sometimes because we always choose to be optimistic about things, and some fans want us to just spew hate and negativity. Not my brand.
@LockedOnBroncos Broncos wasn't always losing like they are. I know things will turn around,but some of the fans need to have more faith in the team. Russell was trash the year when Hackett was here, Sean came and Russell put up numbers fact check if you don't believe me. He could have put up alot more if he would have throw the ball more instead of getting sack. Sean brought us more wins then we had in the last few years. Sean had Winston cooking and teddy yall really think he not going to do it with Zack or Nix, Jarrett sad ass got his first win Sean. I bet nobody noticed the first big play in the game Jarrett did and Sean had him to complete that pass to Judy down the field that Russell couldn't complete all year long. We going to do good this year.

@@LockedOnBroncos First of all let me say my first cousin played for Denver so I’m a DIE hard fan by default. Ricky Hunley #98 drafted first round out of Arizona state. So I know my team believe me. The whole point wasn’t a debate or a shot. But pumpin our brakes and understand for a team who has had NO success with QBS in a decade, this schedule is pretty rough. Facts….
@@jh801003 that’s awesome. It’s absolutely a tough schedule on paper - especially if we base it on last year and the changes a lot of these teams made, but we could also find ourselves surprised too. Just gotta let it all play out and see what the team is like!
