People have called it Put- In- bay for years Dan ,I was born in Port Clinton , in 1950. My Grand Parents called it Put- in- Bay, my Mother ,and Father called it Put- in- bay. Everybody I know has called it Put- In- Bay for years . We all know it's South Bass Island Dan ,but let's not get technical here . People for years have called Catawba, Catawba Island for years too ,but it's been a peninsula since before I was born.....My advice to you Dan is this ,,,,,,,,,,Let it go ......LOL ! !....Have a nice day.......
Great video and look at South Bass Island. After lunch and a cruise around the island-come and see the island by water. That's pretty cool. Kayak the Bay, Ltd. has single and double kayaks and has many fun places to go. For more adventurous-maybe even Middle Bass Island and some glacial grooves.
I worked at Put-In-Bay for summers of '96 and '97, and they WERE THE BEST SUMMERS OF MY LIFE!!! :-D
Good video, but please get it right. The island is South Bass, it is the town that is Put-In-Bay.
