I absolutely love you. Palmstrikes are my fave. I m working nonstop on my power and convulsiveness, relying on your advice. Made huge progress in no time.
Awesome content as always Lee! Thank you for posting great content. Could you make a video/s of how you deal with clashing with another subject and how you win that battle and how you deal with an aggressive subject who is rushing at you?
LOVE IT!!! @ Sifu Lee. Thoughts on taking a quick left handed strike to the solar plexus before the guard take down/trap? It's always beneficial if your adversary cannot breathe, lol Most likely unnecessary against Joe Blow, but against a well versed, or just plain naturally talented opponent, if they managed to break free of the grip you had on their arm and get their guard up again in time, well then rinse and repeat and repeat till the job's done
OK....after multiple views I think I can answer my own question. The solar plexus is is slightly out of range. The guard take down is in optimal range. "Perhaps", if they were to break free and get their guard back up, I might be onto something 😅
My fear is the fight how you've trained thing will cause a person under high stress to punch someones hand. Instead of their face, because they will revert to their training under stress.
Ehm, the other guy grabs the trainer at 2:40 with the wrong hand... not speaking about the last frames where the one catches with his wrong hand at 3:08 the opponents wrong hand and goes frontal 👎⚠️ Just compare with Lee's correct set-up at 1:35 💥
Hey buddy, regarding your comment at 2:40 Lee is Left dominant where is I am right. This is why we attach with the opposite hand. We drill this both sides but the video only shows the dominant. Regarding the 3:08 moment the attachment can vary ad nothing is set in stone but we stick to the principle. Which in this case was palm blitz, clear the line and follow up. Its a good drill for tool and fight development. Try it dominant and non dominant with a moving target and you see how the dynamic can change. Sometimes you'll get the attachment, sometimes you won't, it's an advantage but not essential. If you clear the line and don't have it don't spend time fumbling around for just smash the fucking target.
Such brilliant drills

The first time I saw this "cave man trapping", I just smiled. The origin of a few ideas that have spiralled out of control suddenly made more sense.
