This is how a fix it video should be done. It's obvious to me you had this video well planned before starting to record it. Good job, and thank you!
thanks I'm glad u enjoyed it 👍
Finally a no bs mechanic channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thank you for a straight forward simple to follow video to do this! Best video I seen for Camry spark plug change
Bruh.....you just made this look so easy and simple. I also like the fact that you do one spark plug at a time. Thanks for the great video. Toyota charges 200 dollars for this Bull. Thanks again
$200?? I was told $389!
@@maricellavielma4068 $389????? I was just told $680!!!
Probably you have a 6 cylindrical engine.
Actually it's a 4 cylinder
I was told 888.15@@maricellavielma4068
Thanks for sharing this information! Helped a lot! Definitely made it look easy and didn’t take us long to do once we got the RIGHT size lmao.
Wow - this tutorial gets a A+ for very clearly explained procedures, the tools required and outstanding video quality !!!
Great video! Right to the point! You are a word-economist! Thank you!
A professional as well! You show the plug #, state they come pre-gapped, and use a torque wrench!
Keep up these great videos!
thank you so much 👍
Great video! I like the close-up shot of how to take the coil packs off and your attention to detail. The video is perfect.
This is a good video, thank you very much.
My local toyota dealership just quoted me for 625 dollars b3fore taxes to change my spark plugs on my 2018 4 cylinder camry. Yeah im just gonna do it myself.
That’s ROBBERY smh!
They just tried to charge me a 1000 for my coils and spark plugs 😂
Super helpful video. Thank you for this. Request: Can you show how to replace starter motor on 2018-2023 camry please?
i will make a video on the starter asap
Thank you! Saved me a bunch of $$ much appreciated
Straight to the point, thank you man!
Nice, straightforward, NO BS video that got straight to the point and was very useful. Thank you! Will this procedure also work on the 2018-2023 Hybrid version?
thanks 👍 and yes it's the same procedure
I want to change them myself but I’m nervous. What do you recommend?
if you still dont feel comfortable doing it yourself even after watching the video id just have someone else do it for you to save yourself the stress
Try it yourself first before you reach for help. It’s an amazing feeling when you’re able to do it on your own. That’s how I’ve learned through the years
@@603Mechanicvids I did it myself today and my car is driving great 👍
Thanks for this awesome video!
@@603Mechanicvids can you list the tools so I can go buy them ... I'm s girl so I am a little behind knowing tools lol
شكراً لك لقد جعلتني احتفظ بالنقود وانا احب ان اعمل الاشياء بنفسي شكراً مره آخرى
Thanks for providing such an excellent video
im glad i got a 4 cylinder cause things like spark plugs are so much easier to replace than 6 cylinders that have 3 behind the engine
Great video. Can you update the link of the spark plugs? They are not available. Or give another suggestion. Thanks
Thanks 👍 I'm updated the link in the description
@@603Mechanicvids Great! Thank yo so much. I am so glad I found your channel. I have a Camry and just changed the water pump myself. So far so good! :)
You should do a video on replacing the pcv valve on the 8th generation Camry.
will do 👍
@603Mechanicvids I know it's behind the intake and it probably doesn't take much to pull the intake manifold out just far enough to replace the pcv valve but I've yet to see a quality how to video on UA-cam addressing how to change the 8th generation Toyota Camry pcv valve. Thanks for all of your hard work.
I’m having a hard time removing the spark plug, does the 2019 have a special tool?
Thanks so much for that well done video, I hope you can made more like this we have a 2.5 Lt 2022 AWD Camry, I we have a good question for your channel, is this 2.5 Toyota Camry need a catch can oil to be install in the future, it is 10 000 Milles. thanks' so much to delivery a good videos for us.
thanks I have many more videos on this camry just check out my channel to find them. You'd only need a catch can if you plan on running boost (turbo or supercharger) or if you plan on building the engine with very high compression. hope this helped

I have a Toyota Camry xse hybrid 23 is it the same concept ?
Is all of this the same for the HLE hybrid 2018 model? The socket size and the torque specs?
I would get a 14 mm spark plug socket with built in magnet . AS it will hold the spark plug as you put it in place . So as not to drop it , etc to damage the tip and risk crossthreading .I also removed one coil pack , yet didn't have the right spark plug socket , now I do . So reconnected everything , yet had engine light on , saying three different fuel injectors were malfuntioning , charging system malfunction , collision control malfunction and orange triangle appearing on dash . Others have removed the negative battery terminal before this . I am thinking I shorted out the alternator or what !? Now to test all fuses to see if blown , especially one for alternator . Previously I had power washed my engine and how many days later . I tried to start my car and it was completely dead , used a battery jumpstarter to get it going . A few days ago car stalled on freeway , had to have it towed home .
Do i have to change the pack also? I have the ‘18 camry.
you can just do the spark plugs you don't have to do both at the same time
@ oh ok thanks
Thank you so much.
Why did you change the coil packs. Toyota coil packs last along time?
I didn't need to replace them i just wanted to make a helpful how to video to help people fix their vehicle themselves. That's my channels purpose to help others learn and save money
@@603Mechanicvids how do you know if you need to change the coil pack?
How many miles you had when you changed your spark plugs
that was nice thanks
Hi! May I ask what is the interval of changing spark plugs? My Camry is 2018 with 66000 miles, original spark plug, running smoothly. Thank you so much.
Every 60,000 is recommended. I did it recently at 62,000 even though everything was running smooth
From your experience, do you recommend changing the Valve cover gasket with a spark plug replacement on these A25A engines?
sorry for the late response, but no unless you have a leak from the gasket
Great job great VIDIO , talking to a minimum . Thank you
How many miles do you charge them?
Thanks for sharing ❤️🇺🇸
Thank you so much!
Do you have to disconnect the battery before hand?
no
How many miles you had before the replacement?
I didn't actually replace them, i was just making a how to video for others but toyota recommends changing the platinum plugs every 60k and if you have the iridium plugs they can be good up to 120k
@@603Mechanicvidshow to know my car is platina plugs or iridium plugs ?
I just passed 123,000 miles and they recommended I change mine
It depends on how hard you drive your car.
I may have missed it. But in lieu of paying the dealer mark-up. Who makes the factory ignitor coils? DENSO?
yes it's Denso
exact same as the ford fusion minus the cover
Good video keep up
Might be a dumb question but a v6 has 6 plugs right? Where are they located
yes they have 6 plugs and 3 will be on one side of the engine and 3 on the other side
@ thank u
how often or on how many miles we should do this?
40k - 60k for the spark plugs & 60k - 100k for the ignition coils. ignition coils can last a long time but if you do have one that fails I would recommend replacing all of them at once
You never shared the link to the Park plugs..
all fixed it's in the description now sorry about that
How do you know you need to change the spark plugs in my Toyota Camry?
misfires can be an issue with bad plugs, or just routine maintenance
Thank you sir.
Am experiencing misfire on my 2014 Toyota Camry, it’s delays to speed and it will be shaking when am about to speed. My mind is telling me that it’s the spark plugs.
Excellent
Does the spark plug size apply to all models?
You should mostlily refer to your cars user manual. Could be differnt depending on the year.
What symptoms u have?
Do you have a link for all the tools you used?
Also what size torque . Im thinking about doing myself so i want to make sure I have the right tools
Great
The number sparck
30,000 is the recommended plug change
By who Toyota said 100-120k miles u a mechanic or built the camry
@@nfnyahweh3755 that’s what the dealership told me they use copper plugs not iridium I’ll just swap mine out myself. It took me about 30 minutes. Dealer wanted like 1000 bucks.
@@nfnyahweh3755 they use copper plugs and now I just changed to iridium
