- Showing how I grow blueberries in pots in a very easy and cheap way. I can appreciate the investment of a $50 plant, 4 types of soil, and the scientific ratios that go along with some of the blueberry planting tutorials. But ya girl just doesn't have the time or energy for that. However, she still likes her some bleubs, so here we go.

Hey, Brooke, enjoyed video. I have grown the pink lemonade for about 8 years. It makes some but not the most productive. I think it needs a little more chill hours than I have. But it does nave a good flavor, (my wife's favorite} and very pretty berries. Made real well one year. Been through a lot with the Harvey flood, being under water for over a week. Not heard much about legacy. Good luck. Blueberries are fairly easy as long as you can maintain the acid soil. Tap water will raise the pH over time. Make sure you protect the new growth from freezing, esp. if it was growing inside the store or in a greenhouse.

Wow that is so sweet ♥️ I don’t have a video but it’s super easy! All you need is t posts and some wire fencing. It’s held together with zip ties 😬
Nice video but for optimal fruit production , " I am not sure if that is your aim " but you will need to do quite a bit more , otherwise the plants will stay alive but produce very little . If you want to approach this blueberry gardening with as little effort as possible you will need to at minimum :
(1) Get a larger container with sufficient drain holes . (2) Feed the plant with Liquid Fish Fertilizer , Ammonium Sulfate , at least every month and please some add elemental sulfur at least twice per year to the soil in the container. (3) Water the plant at least 3 times per week depending on how hot your area is .
Lastly the Pink lemonade blueberry variety is a time waster and poor producer from my experience..

I went and bought two from Home Depot today and I after I got home I realized I picked one that says zone 4-7. 🤦🏻♀️

Oooof it’s a very big pot. One of the biggest they sell at Home Depot!
