Cleaning and Carving the Slab Plate (Day 2) a Ceramics I Exercise

This video covers how to clean the outer edge with a Mudtools Shredder, a notched rib, and a small stainless steel Mudtools rib. I show compressing the cleaned rim with my wet fingers to smooth it. After the outer rim is cleaned, I show how to lay out your design, and then carve it with a small Kemper Mini Ribbon tool.

Lol! Thanks!!! (I admit it was total vanity- I honestly got tired of seeing my hands look so old (and manly!) in the videos, and decided to grow them out a bit to make them a bit more feminine!) . ;) . I cut them every other time I do my nails... I'll cut them this week when I change my polish! I love the manicures I do myself now- it lasts for 10 days- with throwing! Crazy strong!
