Me and my friend came up with a twist on the regular Deatswap challenge. Instead of trying to kill each other, we decided to set the swap timer on 1 minute and try to kill ourselves instead. The 1st person to die wins. We call it, Minecraft Lifeswap.

A quick shoutout to @McBirken as he was an inspiration for this idea, as well as he helped with developing the rules and the concept of the challenge. That also pertained to himself too. Plus they did need to change it up. They were doing too much of the same thing so it was getting boring quickly after the sixth or seventh death.

You should do something like achievement finder, whoever gets a certain achievement first wins, something like whoever does "Return to the sender" first wins

You should do this again, but the method of death in each round has to be different from all the previous ones. This'll make it potentially more fair and lead to more interesting rounds as the game progresses
he won with suffocation 3-4 times and he says its not allowed anymore because he explained how good it is, like bruh

if anyone cares, the reason they took damage so slowly at first was because they had full saturation. and as u know, saturation regenerates their health faster

When you said "No suffocation and and no fall damage" more than half of your wins automatically got discarded since that's what you did most of the time.

Most of the restrictions was because of him using it a lot so he was making it fair for the other person

You should do this again but make a rule that you can only use a death once, just for variety! 😁
A good rule to have if you do a rematch would be you can't use the way the last person died or any other deaths so far that match. So first death is suffocation and you can't suffocate anymore then 2nd death is fall damage and now you can't use suffocation or fall damage and it keeps going until 10 rounds and it gets tricky to find a new way to die.

If you do this again, there should be a rule of no repeats. Suffocating and drowning is too OP, and very easy to do.

the deathswap mod/datapack u were using was refilling ur saturation to full every time you start the game, which explains why u feel like ur regenerating too fast
you should do it so once someone dies one way you cant die that way again

Minecraft Origins Deathswap:
I think it’d be very interesting to see how you adapt to the other person’s abilities to kill them. Like how you couldn't use lava if someone was a Blazeborn, or fall traps if someone was an Avian, etc.
I'm not sure if anyone has thought of this yet, but what if you did it so you have to beat minecraft, but you swap with a random mob after a few seconds or something like that. Basically it's just a singleplayer death swap.

This is actually a really good twist of a popular game
you should do this again but with good rules stablished from the beginning, for example, you can't repeat death (so if you both die with suffocation you cant repeat it) which is basically kinda what you did, but do that from the start

I would say if you do this again, make it so once someone wins in one way, you can't use that way again for the remainder of the matches, so if someone wins by suffocation no one else can do so.
Dolphins are neutral mobs so that last round, they will kill you if you punch them.
It could be interesting to do this with one person playing regular deathswap and one playing this version.

Another strat they could implement is hurting themselves before the swap, such as burning themselves or drowning to 1/2 hearts, I don't recall that being against the rules.
Or at bare minimum, just enough to lose saturation.
forgot to mention, but we can't damage ourselves on purpose before the first swap

best out of 10 doesnt mean first one to 10 rounds. What you played is best of 19 (since there can be a total of 19 games where one has won 10 rounds)
There cannot be best out of 10 for two people since it has to be an odd number

Mine is: you can't die until the first swap, and you can't die of suffocation, drowning and fall damage until the second swap.
Wow Boosfer is so good at dying
Idea: Minecraft Deathswap BUT a third person(not involved in gameplay, or maybe a mystery wheel) decides the actual aim of the game, but the other players dont know the thing that they have to do. So you have to win and hope that you guessed the secret objective, some examples would be: Loser wins, most logs collected, least logs collected, least damage taken and stuff like that. It seems fun in theory, but i dont know if it would be fun in practice
