You know, the 70/30 rule in the Islamic jurisprudence about hermaphrodites exists for a reason. I'm just saying it's best not to assume.
I think I confused some people today by just existing... I was grocery shopping between prayer times and could hear the person behind me talking about me and saying I was a sick weirdo... I felt a little upset. People assume the worst all the time. Hermaphrodites are actually fairly common. But I have a type of condition that makes me stand out. So I hear a lot of nasty mean comments.
But life is a test. The more I suffer, the greater the reward for doing the right thing despite that difficulty. It doesn't make it fun though.
I am sorry to hear this, yes I know what a hermaphrodite is. It's not your fault and in Islam it is actually forbidden to insult people based on their appearance. You get by the way good deeds and sins forgiven when such idiots mistreat or insult you and they get bad deeds for doing this. Absolutely, I agree 100%, praying in public is a form of da'wah. Non Muslims usually pause and try to process what they are witnessing and why this steadfastness, what's with this religion. It makes one to go on a quest to find out more to learn or at the very least, find some basic answers about Islam.
This is similar to what is going on in Palestine, the strong faith, discipline and steadfastness inspired many to accept Islam.
Actually, having a wall or pillar in front of you during individual ṣalāh is to avoid distraction from people passing by during the prayer, especially in public.

Regarding that gay priest…my impression is that he knew that such lifestyle is sinful so he decided to become priest in order to stay away from it because he feared God and eventually when he saw how much Church is becoming liberal, he left it.

Salam from malaysia. In my country we provide musolla (prayer room) in various places, in malls, bus train station, even in the train, and in the freeway/highway pit stops. In our highway, we have pit stops provides amenities such as toilet, resting area, fuel station, restaurants, and in this pit stops each on of it provides musolla. In malaysia u have no excuses for not praying 5x a day.
MashAllahu. Allahuma barik lahum. It's great to see that in Malaysia Muslims have many opportunities for quiet corners to pray. In Germany we unfortunately still have to pray on the street sometimes, if a train is late and out of shedule, short times in winter, some people on their way back home from work, etc.

And btw Allah says the earth (land) is masjid, meaning all places as long as it's clean and no symbol of other religions can be a place to perform Salah. So definitely including in Public places. Many even travel prayer mat nowadays on the market that people can carry around. And also to do wudhu can be from everywhere just using water bottle that we can get in grocery store or little shop.
What is your advice for a Muslim woman who is in the same situation where it’s prayer time but she’s in public? I’ve wondered about this.
I have a great advice for you actually: There are smaller and thin (looks like the material where tents are made of for camping) prayer mats that fit small pockets including a woman's purse and can be used in public. If you do have to perform Wudu as a woman in public (for example you have a small water bottle, use a public toilet) you are allowed to wipe with your wet hands over your hijab and socks (if you took wudu in the morning, stayed in that state and put fresh socks on in a state of wudu) and that is a ease for a woman to take wudu in public. And yea then look for any quiet place it can be a parking place, garage, park (on the grass) and just pray there. My personal experience from praying in public was this: First time: a bit nervous, 2nd time: less nervous, 3rd time: I don't care anymore. From my observation of people especially living in Germany: Most people do not care what people do in public, we have drunks with torn clothes singing and dancing on the street, we have people (Audhu billah) kiss in public while touching each others private parts infront of everyone (a minor sign of Al-Qiyamah). We Muslims care more what people think that they actually care about what we do so often our fear is on such a high level because of the whispers of Shaytan when in reality nobody cares. If Shaytan ever makes you feel insecure think about the drunks with torn clothes dancing around, the dudes grabbing parts of women in public while kissing, the crossdressing LGBQT people. Oh and a little motivation for you: if you wear the Hijab think about it this way: I already show off to public I am a Muslima Alhamdulillah they all see my Hijab and expect me to pray, not party, eat halal, etc. you get labeled by first sight basically so even if you pray it does not matter. Any Islamophobe cancels you on first sight so praying won't really make it worse. I hope I managed to encourage you with my reply.

If he does not have something the height of the back of a saddle in front of him, then his prayer is invalidated if a donkey or a woman or a black dog passes in front of him.’” I [‘Abd-Allah] asked, “O Abu Dharr, what is the difference between a black dog and a red or yellow dog?” He said, “O son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the same question, and he said, ‘The black dog is a shaytaan (devil).’” (Narrated by Muslim, 510).

Tawheed is the concept of the Oneness of God. Tawhid is the central concept of Islam, which is the belief that God is one and indivisible.Tawhid is a fundamental belief of Islam and is acknowledged in part of the First Pillar of Islam, which states "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is his last prophet".
In a nutshell, Tawheed is worshipping the One and Only God "Allah", acknowledging his commands and full authority over you and not associating partners with Him. You do not associate a man to him, nor idol, nor government, nor parents... and not even yourself.
Ayat al-Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:255), 1 verse, 9 lines, not only outlines the core principles of Tawheed, but also features a striking symmetry in its structure, emphasizing the ones of Allah and His unparalleled greatness. This symmetry enhances the profound message of Tawheed, where the beginning and end of the verse mirror each other, reinforcing the key themes.
Three Aspects of Tawheed:
1. Tawheed ar-Rububiyyah (Oneness of Lordship) - Acknowledging that Allah is the sole Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
2. Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah (Oneness of Worship) - Worshiping Allah alone without any partners, seeking His guidance, and offering acts of worship solely to Him.
3. Tawheed al-Asma wa’l-Sifat (Oneness of Names and Attributes) - Recognizing that Allah's attributes are unique and matchless, and not like those of His creation.
(2:255):
"Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
He knows what is before them and what will be after them,

• This section emphasizes Allah’s perfection and immutability. Unlike His creation, He is beyond the limitations of human need. He does not grow tired or require rest, unlike creatures who depend on sleep and rest.
• The phrase "To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth" reinforces Tawheed ar-Rububiyyah. It is a statement of Allah's ownership and control over the entire universe.
3. The Symmetrical Ending:
"His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."
• The end of the verse reflects the opening by further asserting Allah’s absolute dominion. The Kursi-a symbol of His authority and power-extends over the entire creation, and this act of preservation does not cause Him fatigue.
• This mirrors the beginning of the verse, where Allah is described as Ever-Living and Self-Sustaining, emphasizing that Allah’s control is endless and uninterrupted.
First line matches last line, 2nd line matches 8th line, 3rd line matches 6th, 4th and 5th match, and right in middle ‘He knows what is before them and what will be after them’

The symmetry in Ayat al-Kursi not only reinforces the Oneness of Allah (Tawheed) in all its forms (Lordship, Worship, and Names & Attributes), but also presents Allah as perfect, eternal, and independent, free from the needs and limitations of creation. The balanced structure of the verse reflects the unity and perfection of Allah’s existence, making the verse a powerful expression of Tawheed, emphasizing Allah’s total control, knowledge, and majesty over everything in the universe, without any partners or rivals. Incumbent on us to tap into this power. 🤗

I work in singapore and in a day i pray 2 prayers in public but instead pf people giving me a strange stare they appreciate it and i’m talking about non muslims and some of them they even think this guy is very good even though i’m not good at all and Allah k ows best.
I think that the more Islam becomes present in an area the more normal people view it and get used to it. Media can't pollute the minds of people living inside a Muslim community and seeing the real truth.

@@MarcelEntertainment Yes, indeed. You confirmed it there but these are clearly distinctions for these situations. If you were about to pray in the mosque you will be clearly in the men section. If someone would pass would be a man, prayer will not be invalidated (by mistake we expect). I don't think you have a donkey or a black dog in the mosque or your house for this to happen, even a black dog (regardless the color) we know the general rule to not have it in the house. And for the women part it could happen for example mom, adult sister or wife then yes would apply, rarely they would pass in front of you while you pray but yes. However, the possibility of this to happen is minimal to say if someone passes in front while you pray it will be invalidated, as general.

Alhamdulillah our difference is the prayer, belief, consistency and hard work. We are constantly avoiding the plaguing sins like alcohol, drugs and partying, that most non muslim fighters indulge in. Also knowing that we avoid all the traps of the shayateen, just reinforces our forever burning belief that we will succeed in whatever we do, weather it is in business, family, wealth, fighting/sports ect.

It's possible to experience same-sex attractions and not act out on those desires which would be a sin. I was in a similar situation to this priest mentioned and I embraced islam two years ago and inch'Allah I planned to get married to a woman, despite struggling with unwanted desires. Having SSA (same sex attraction) doesn't mean you are part of the "gay lifestyle". It's part of the test of this dunya and I ask Allah for protection and I seek refuge in Him from the whisperings of shaytan. Hope this clarifies things, brother.

We all have different weaknesses, some are married and see a woman on the road and wish they could do .... with that one but they return loyal to their wife home, someone could be addicted to smoking or drinking but knows this is haram and stays in control (even though they always think about it or wish they could do that, but don't) yea this is a personal Jihad and the stronger the temptation and the more you fight against it the more the reward. May Allah keep us all strong and safe against our weaknesses and bad thoughts. Ameen.
