My dad bought one in the 80s, when I was about 15, I got to ride it when I was about 20, I will never forget that sound it had. His had 2, 3 into headers, stock. It was the silver touring one, with all the bells and whistles, it was a beautiful bike.
@@MotoTouringWorldWide I've owned both the Ninja ZX1400, and the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300, but they are different kind of bikes to some degree. I would love to own all 3 at once, lol.
Try riding with 36 CBX's on the freeway going from Morro Bay to San Luis Obispo Honda shop on the Central Coast of California. We did that for years in a row before 911. It sounds like being in a bomber formation.

Cars are only average nowadays...the older ones were far superior. Toyotas the best car manufacturer. And technologically the Yamahas are better engineered than Hondas, and amazingly the Royal Enfield are the best engineered bike you can buy.🤷

Agreed. It was quick. Note that the 1st sentence is a copy and past from Cycle Magazine I believe back in 1979 when it was stated as "The Fasted production production motorcycle". My first thought is there must be faster motorbikes out there. But I think the article is based more so on "mass" production bike. The cbx is probably one of my all-time favorite classic motorcycles, the sound is amazing and definitely are a legend.🤙🏍️🤙🏍️

Honda is the best Car and Bike Manufacturer
