Did your body become very painful after getting out of the water? Because of the pressure of underwater
Not at all. If you dive right and follow the safety protocol, which includes a safety stop to let your body decompress after the nitrogen buildup caused because of diving to a certain depth, you’re perfectly okay.

Not Worth taking the risk
As a certified diver, your risks are far reduced because you’re qualified to be self reliant. Literally everything in life comes with risks, and so does this sport, but there are plenty of ways to mitigate it and spend some time exploring a whole new world 😊 I’d say scuba diving is absolutely worth it.
