Welcome to Meteor Mega Menus, a quick and easy way to create gorgeous multi-tier dropdown menus for your Shopify store. We’re going to walk you through how to make your menu in minutes!
When you’re creating your first menu, you’ll have a few options: you can import a navigation menu from Shopify, create menu items manually, or do both. If you choose to create menu items manually, we'll show you how to use the resource picker for things like products or collections. You can even upload your own custom images for a menu item.
Meteor Mega Menus makes importing a menu from Shopify simple and seamless, simply enter a menu handle and import it [with hyphens]. You can see that Meteor Mega Menus automatically pulls in the selected menu and now you can drag and drop items, edit item titles, and link an item from a specific resource in your store.
When you select “manage” a navigation item, you’ll be prompted to build a mega menu. Meteor Mega Menus lets you preview each template so you can discover each template’s features and see how a customer will interact with them. Go ahead and browse through the templates and select the one that works for you. Adding a menu item and linking it to an existing product in Shopify will allow you to simply drag and drop the item to nest it in a desired location.
After you've selected a template, you can customize the settings. Meteor Mega Menus has a separate mobile editor that allows you to adjust the mobile template, and even edit mobile style settings. Now that you have the navigation and mega menus set up, it's time to install it on your storefront. Save your changes in the menu builder and the installation prompt will ask you to select a theme to enable the app embed in the theme editor. Make sure to save your changes in the theme editor before exiting.
Finally, view your menus on your storefront to confirm that everything is working. Nice.

Hello, I am trying out your app on shopify, but I am having difficulty with it. When I add my main-menu items, and then select one of the options in the bar I proceed to pick a theme (Solar) and it will not allow me to put menus into the newer menu.
For instance, Main Menu has 5 options, I select 1 option which brings me down to something new I have just included, but I cannot add another section onto that new section like in the clip above (@38 seconds, you see how you can add more onto "red" or "green". This is not an option for me for some reason on the Solar and even the Tidal themes. I can only add the first tags but not more than that. Could you please help on this matter?
