My ex and I did this a lot. We met at a party, it wasn't a big one, only half a dozen of us, we went up to the roof to get some quiet and talked for hours under the stars. My first kiss was on a boulder in a dry riverbed under that night sky. We used to meet in that river often, to hold each other, talk, kiss, and look up at the stars. We parted ways a few years ago, for a lot of reasons that I don't regret. I'm glad of the time we had together, and I'll always hold those memories close. This one really hit home for me, it brought back a lot of vivid memories.

So many What Ifs running through your head, but honestly half the time you just gotta go for it; the worst that can happen is that they don’t reciprocate and just get over it and just stay friends, that’s true friendship right there or… Sometimes you get amazing moments like these where they laugh at you and call you a dummy because they feel the exact same way. So many good memories.

Before anything, I'd just like to appreciate just how gorgeous the art for this video is. The conversation, the confession. everything. We literally went this route. Although it didn't end up working out, I've never once regretted that relationship. I learned a lot because of her and vice-versa. We even went back to being really good friends which is a blessing. Not too many get that back. Our relationship over the years was an adventure, that's for sure Childhood Acquaintances > Mutual Friends > Good Friends > Best Friends > Romantic Relationship > Exes > Friends > Really Good Friends.
