Jin is a true and pure person. Im 100 percent sure he wrote these lyrics by heart. The words "I gotta let you know, I'm ready to let go." Are words that mostly come from the heart. Jin is a shooting star in this album. He made the lyrics and beat to this song. The song itself is very beautiful. Its very beautiful and has a great melody.

Every time people talk about this I always start to cry...plus it's almost impossible to make me cry

I heard from a commenter that the album 'Face Yourself' with 'Let Go' was going to be BTS' last album before disbanding from mental exhaustion caused by their jobs and they hadn't told the public a word about it until Jin mentioned it while BTS received the artist of the year award... damn, that must've been really sad to not only want to disband from extreme exhaustion, but to also have to hide it from the public, including ARMY as they performed this song.
but now they're back with new album..don't worry guys I guess we have this year and next year with BTS...as Jin will go to military

I hate to think that this might have been their farewell song to us. I realised we have to let them go someday, for their rest and also for their duty in constriction. I'm glad to know though, that they'll be there even at the end of my education.

Jin wrote this song and made the melody for it during when they were going to disband. Does anyone else realise that Jin might have written this in the thought of, not just the tough mental issues they all must have been going through, but the realisation that he's going to have to stop his journey first and that too, in a few years only, because he's the eldest and will be the first to serve in constriction? See that in the videos it's clear that he was crying and realise that he wrote this song during the time they were all thinking of disbandment?
This wasn't simply BTS' possible goodbye, but it could've been Jin's farewell specifically. Not just to us but to Bangtan.
I'm sorry I cried while writing this because it's hard to think about it.

They realize that someday they r not as popular as now and just 'let go' idols activity. And all army know it. So army n bts can prepare evrything what will happen in future. To me, Taehyung is the best (overall) in BTS at projecting his emotions into his voice, his dance, and his facial expressions. You can really see how he translates the meaning of the song into his movements especially in this performance.
One day BTS will go their separate ways and create their own family. Instead of us being sad, let’s be happy and cherish the moments they have shared with us. They have worked so hard for years that they deserve to be happy and follow what life they will want after this wonderful journey. I know it’ll be hard but they will always have our hearts. ARMYs, know that even if they separate ways it doesn’t mean our fandom needs to do too. We can smile everytime, just everytime we remember them. They didn’t work this hard for people to remember them and cry, they worked this hard for us to remember them and smile. We won’t let go, we will start a new journey. Stay strong ARMY and BTS!

This is my favorite song by them, I love how ambiguous it is. Its not necessarily about a romantic relationship gone bad. It could be interpreted in so many ways and could be talking about any close relationship going sour and the feelings that go on with ending a friendship with another person. Its almost like a 'death' in a way. Something feels broken in you for a long time as you grieve the good times, but also know that nothing can be changed. The concept is so simple but everything they touch turns into a masterpiece. Also the choreography for this song is beyond special. I can listen to this song several times a day and NEVER get tired of it

I'm sorry to inform you you, but none of them wrote this or produced it. It was a Japanese composer by the name of Jun. I promise you that is true. LY-Tear is about that time they have been very vocal about that fact. I dont know who started this tale but it sucks because its really bad information and causes trouble with ARMY when its talked about. 😪

Is it just me or when they sing in Japanese it’s just so heartbreaking and melancholy? Jimin is my fave as always he was able to have rendered me speechless with his performance.. his level just keeps getting better & better..but I have to add that V was amazing in this the way he dance and sing it was different like gut wrenching. I keep returning my gaze on him. Jins’ voice on the other hand was so confident and soothing, melody just flows so spontaneously.. he has the best diction in Japanese.
But the choreography.. wow!!! I was mesmerized

Boy i really cant take that. I enjoy watching BTS and seeing them very succesful now. I enjoy being a part of Army and getting notified on their recent activities. Everything was great. I'm a new army really, and just watched it right now. It really did brought tears into my eyes. What I've been doing for the past few months was watching every single video of them, listening to their songs & smiling at their laughs; Cause I know one day, I'm not gonna be able to see it live. That there is no BTS anymore. That one day, they will be happy with their own family, supporting their children & being more contented for what they have. That I can only remember the days they we're still happy together. I'm honestly not ready for that day to come, but I know it will. Cause they're not forever gonna be with us as BTS.
