Shares of American businessman Ilon Mask's Tesla rose 7 times in a year, bringing the company's market capitalization to $ 710 billion.
This made Tesla the most expensive car company in the world. Tesla shares traded above $ 5,000 during trading. Experts attribute this to the growing demand for electric cars in China.
Japan's Toyota is in second place with a market capitalization of $ 205 billion.
The third place is taken by the German company Volkswagen. The market value of the German company is $ 142 billion.
