People can say what they will but I've always liked Luminox. The tritium is always on so it's a perfect night watch for long trips or especially camping. The $1300 price is a little outside what their target audience is going to be willing to pay I'd wager and I'm not a fan at all of the Tommy Hilfiger-eques LUMINOX branding on the band (Breitling and Hamilton have done this too recently) -- I hate that. Otherwise, this is a great looking watch that I'd be happy to own.
Wow. the price is bit steep, but I love the classic yet modern finish dial & indices and bezel. Hope that they also offer a nice metal bracelet. Again, Love the dial design.
Luminoxi? I love Luminox watches and always wanted an automatic one. Saltzmans is great by the way. They do great service work too. Full lume dials are awesome but usually fade after a few hours and then the tritium tubes take over.
Hey Rob. Please review the new Seiko Marinemaster SLA 079J. Thinking about buying one but would love to hear your opinion first. Cheers from down under.
Getting a 24mm steel bracelet sounds like a terrible idea. Bracelets make the watch wear larger. This would have been fine with 20mm lugs. Maybe even 22 on a silicone strap. But what the hell were they thinking when they made the lugs 24mm wide? That is an instant deal breaker.
Citizen Perpetual Calendar A-T Chrono. 43mm with 24mm lugs. Fits like a glove. No deal breaker there. 24 is OK as long as it tapers to 20mm, which the bracelet does. Difficult to find any 24mm straps that taper to 20mm, so that's the real drawback.
@@truesf345 I'm 6'2 and weigh 220 lbs. My wrist is 7.5 inches. I'm man sized alright. Still no excuse to wear an oversized watch. I have nothing to compensate for.
Na, doesn't look like the current Aquaracer. They do look like the F1 quartz though... but this iteration is different. Looks like they took Formex / Patek case and the wave is simiar to SMP300
I've always been intrigued by Luminox watches, especially the automatic ones.

I like this alot - the black dial would pair nicely with my white omega SMP as I wanted that in black as well - cool watch
To big for me. But, I believe the quartz is smaller all around and a quarter of the price. If the bezel is the same I'm in
love it....except that strap

luminox does make nices watches, I have had one in the past. I wish this one was a GMT
Totally would buy that watch, given unlimited resources to do so.
Luminox? Boominox!! 🏁🎉
Did you review the blood red moon Bulova watch yet ?
Wow! Nice watch 👍🏼
Looks a v similar shape to the Formex Reef!
Great looking watch. The text on the rubber band is way over the top and too much IMHO. The rubber strap looks very nice other than the text.
Saphire crystal?
Nice

It’s a lumi nox thing, I think?

Yeah, that would be heavy. My luminox is made from carbonox.
Watch is light.
Not a fan of the new ones.
Man sized wrist don’t mind

You can buy a ginault silent service for a similar watch....and that twice the quality
I owned the Ginault and the bracelet is superior but that’s ALL
Looks awesome……it looks like the current aqua racer from an alternate universe if Tag did a better job with it.

No, not at all, and Tag is doing a fantastic job with the Aquaracer.
24mm lugs is such a missed opportunity. Even 22mm would’ve been perfect
Way TOO BIG. Huge watch.
42mm???
