I'm learning a lot about food and how it relates to the body. I've been neglecting that for a while but now I understand a lot about how food affects my body and emotions too and this video is very informative. I trivialized it at first but now I'm here to watch it and learn more.
I think my system works differently. I am not a fan of breakfast, when I do I feel hungry before lauch and I tend to add weight. Skipping breakfast helped my weight loss journey. Guess it works differently for everyone.
Recent studies have shown that it’s actually beneficial to eat when one is actually truly hungry. Eat well balanced healthy meals that are enough to provide the macros and micros required for optimal health. We actually ain’t cars, our bodies store the breakdown products of food in their storage forms for a variable amount of time in addition to the micros. As adults eating 3 times a day has not been shown to have better health benefits compared to either doing intermittent fasting or other forms of fasting. Breakfast is still the most important meal of the day no matter what. However, as the name suggests it’s the meal that beaks the overnight fast hence it can be taken at any time but ideally at least 1 hour after waking up. The time that was given in the video was appropriate too. Snacking is actually not encouraged but if it must be eaten a healthy alternative should be chosen. Please ensure to check up the findings from the latest studies on what I have pointed out. Dinner should be taken at least 3 hours before sleep. Overall, the video was ok.
