The ONE, The ONLY!!! DAMN!!!! How i love listening to the man, DANZIG. Always have and always will. Gotta hear him everyday. Just something about that true rock he brings to us. Nothing but love and respect for the GOD of Rock n Roll.

One of his greatest vocals. Everything this guy touches is perfection and I will always stand by that. One of the most underrated singer/songwriters/mucians ever. He might not be likeable to a lot of people, but his talent is beyond compare. I will love him to death.🖤🖤🖤

How the hell does he do that? Like, I can sing some Danzig. I can get the lows, I can get most of the highs. But he does this thing here. It’s this spot in the upper back area f the throat, getting into the lower nasal cavity, so going from chest / throat voice to head voice, but it just stays there. Or makes for an incredibly difficult transition. For me at least! He’s basically doing it this whole song. wtf?! Still, absolutely epic.
Glenn's clean singing is achieved with classic opera technique influenced by Mario Lanza; he's always on chest voice, mostly belting plus throat compression when he's not singing on clean style, but his true secret is a perfect balance in between a mostly closed throat and open throat, limited approach in specific moments, giving that '50s hiccups vibe that he stops instantly when a falsetto belting starts, going back to chest voice; that technique was invented by Tony Williams of the Platters and then made famous by Elvis. It's not a specific matter of learning a technique, but all about feeling inside that specific vibe and using it instinctively, instead of thinking about the technique that would generate a cold rational approach to singing.
Moreover, technically Glenn is a light baritone voice type (also light baritone spoken voice) and a low tenor in his vocal tessitura. So his main range of comfortable singing is in between low tenor and high/light baritone, mostly using a classic opera chest belting technique, always strongly supported by a powerful lungs diaphragm, consequently he can be regarded as a baritenor.
@@DarthChainsaw Who wrote the original song??? Did Danzig write this or was another artist the author of it??? I have googled it and cannot find who wrote the song
Dig the Skeletons version, but man, I wish this was the one on the album! Incredible.

This is so great. Prefer this to the Skeleton release version. Not to keen to his pick on using the old production technology though.
