I appreciate Greg's terror, I've had a very similar story after waling in a cow pasture and it was very traumatic, but I want to clarify that according to the CDC "Many people, even health care providers, can be confused about whether the lone star tick causes Lyme disease. It does not." Though they can still carry bacteria which can make you sick in other ways. The ticks that give you Lyme are deer ticks/black legged ticks and western black legged ticks (the tiny ones).
I recently found KF after a serious accident. I almost died and Im glad I didnt, because I would have never found these guys. I also wouldnt have known there was someone as crazy as me out there, thank you Greg Miller, thank you for being an openly insane person and giving people like me hope. 🤣💚
When I was younger, I had Lyme Disease. The doctors didn't know what it was, and thought I was going to die. I was in bed all day, I was puking all the time, and I had the worst headache that I've ever had in my life. The way I describe it, is as if someone was pulling out my brain from my nostrils. It also messed up my body - certain areas of my body can't grow hair, and am always extremely itchy (might've messed me up neurologically, not too sure). Anyways, it sucked. One of the worst things I've encountered in life.
@@mikekasabion No worries, man. It just happened - had no idea, no knowledge of preventing it at the time. In all honesty, the story that Greg tells triggered my body to be itchy. Any time I see or hear something of the sort, my body goes into sensory overload.
I was shaking my head through the whole tick bio hazard story. I've lived in a area with ticks for 27 years, been bit by more ticks than I can count, never got lyme disease. The chance of getting lyme disease is super low. That's like getting West Nile from a mosquito bite, possible but super unlikely. 🙄
When I was volunteering in Huarmey Peru for 4 months. Every lunch was a large plate of ceviche, hominy (loved the hominy) and a papa rellena (deep fried potato that is meat and veg stuffed) and a cusquena dark beer for $5. I miss it every day....
One time when my brothers and I were little (10-12ish), we were at my cousins' house in Virginia. We all got back from a hike, and everyone was fine (no ticks), except for my one brother ... who had one on his FUCKIN NUTSACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On nicks story about that fraud and getting 56 consecutive KOs. I do wanna point out that it isn’t just twice as many people as rounds. You go up by powers of two for each supposed round. To fight one round, you’d need two people (2^1). To fight two rounds, you’d need four people(2^2). Three rounds, we’re up to eight (2^3). Claiming that he was in a 56 round tournament means 2^56 people or, strap in, 72057594037927936 people! 72 trillion fuckers in an underground fight club.
Holy shit Nick, I thought you were about to ruin my childhood with some nonsense about Blood Sport, but we are all good. I can handle that glass shattering. PS - Universal Soldier yay or nay?
I just found a tick on my daughter's head the other night. It was terrifying, and I am pretty sure I have traumatized my daughter to the point of never wanting to go into grass again.
I don't know man, when I'm looking for my LYFT I just look at the last few digits of the of the plate number and ignore the rest. If there happens to be a serial killer just sitting outside my job with the last 3-4 digits of mt LYFT I'm fucking dead.
42:32 Greg's 2nd greatest fear start
Yelof Ttocs thank you
Lol Greg is the worst with TV shows... you can't say stranger things S3 is ok when you only listened to it with one ear while playing VR.
Eh, that's Greg tho, if it's not smallville it can gtfo 9 times out of 10
it was ok even with two eyes and two ears, he wins for productivity
When you wish they still had the animated bits that you could see a visual interpretation of the opening.
Andy trying to keep it together for the last 30 seconds is a big mood
Tick Portillo had me in tears.
Andy looks like johnny depp in 'secret window'
Anyone start scratching while listening to the tick talks 2019?
I can picture Kevin doing everything with his car in the beginning
cue the montage haha

It amazes me that the fear of ticks story is so deep that there is a Columbia Daily Tribune article written by Greg regarding ticks. 😂😂
So many great one-liners from Andy today 😂

I’m sorry to hear that man, but glad you made it through! Ticks are one of my worst fears much like Greg

When Nick said how Frank Dux was a fake, I haven't been so sad since I found out about Santa
Biggest take away from this episode: Andy will be leaving kinda funny probably within the next year. And that really really really sucks.
I got that feeling too, very upsetting.
M J ya. It really sucks. Especially if they are planning on moving the company like they are saying, knowing that he’s already struggling financially.
@@grizzlysparks7117 where are they planning on moving?
chris Duffy Los Angeles
I’m so stoked for Andy to join Funhaus! Bring Nick with you!
And just like that we have another legendary Greg Miller story lol
Andy starts the video out looking like a philosopher. Tell me your wisdom oh great one. What is the greatest show of all time?
I would've been a terrible friend just laughing at Greg the whole time he was having his tick freakout
I look for the last three too Andy; for the exact reason Nick said that the last ones are more likely to be unique.
Andy looks like an art critic
So serious idea for a show: "Jammin Out" with Barrett, Nick, and Andy just playing live music to Kevin clapping alone with the chat
Andy, lookin sharp with the glasses.
Andy in those glasses is doin somethin to my body...👌
No joke I just learned about Justin’s Bieber’s Lyme Disease diagnosis while hearing Greg’s odyssey.
Why isn't this episode on patreon? I'm not seeing it on the app at least.
Andy I did that same job for a BMW dealership for years and I drove BMWS all over the Midwest every day.
They might not even be the type of tick that carries Lyme's diseas...
Andy lookin like Johnny Depp 🔥
Fun fact, the lone star tick can make you allergic to red meat.
Love it! Keep up the hard work ! #TeamKindaFunny

Liked in the first few seconds. Love these stories!
Nick - "They call it Peacocking for a reason"
Can confirm VWs melt in the sun.
Lyme disease is messed up man. I learned about Lyme disease from MTV's The Real World. Some chick had Lyme disease and some dude slapped her.
Dupage county animal control sleeping on the job again smh.

I feel like since Milk Mommy Kevin's becoming more and more ridiculous.
Holy shit Nick, I thought you were about to ruin my childhood with some nonsense about Blood Sport, but we are all good. I can handle that glass shattering.

universal soldier is great
Felt like something was crawling on me this whole podcast.
If no one else is going to say this I'm going to .... KEVIN IS FUCKING AMAZING
Hey Andy, where can I snag that sweet AH shirt?👕👕👕

Sounds like Greg went to Dinner for Schmucks
I hate that listening to Greg's tick story made my start to feel itchy at my desk. Goddamn...
Fucking looked up Lyme disease on NHS, says ticks are found all over the UK 😱😱
Was really hoping I'd be safe on our island
Greg, I feel like you should know that as you were telling this story I stripped and check myself for ticks. They are the WORST. 😭
Me and Greg have the same 2nd greatest fear
Does anyone have the code for Andys level on mario maker?
best start ever
Is Nick ok?
Kevin tells the best fucking stories. #trueartist
Greg - “...Avenged sevenfold..”
Me - *dies*
Great episode, I just wish you guys wouldn't use the fake cheaplooking thumbnails with people doing the staged "reactions". It's corny af
