This is a very good video. It was actually quite sad seeing a piece of history disappear.
Very interesting documentary.
I'm a Glenrothes boy myself and lived in Rimbleton Avenue in the 1960's and went to Rimbleton Primary.
On doing some research on my family's ancestry I discovered that in the 1861 census my Great, great. great grandfather William Ramsay was a ploughman at Caskieberran Farm and lived in the cottages with his wife and 5 children, probably not more than a couple of miles from our house in Rimbleton Avenue.

Brilliant 👏
I lived at Lorne court .. Glenrothes and as a wee girl used to play around an old wall across the Caskieberran road behind the pub called Oast house. I wonder if that old wall was part of the old Caskieberran buildings .. I remember it ell and would love to know what that wall was part off
The name of the street now is Lammermuir COURT not crescent
I was born Falcon Drive in '61 and left in '68 just before all the new development in Caskieberran. What a lovely history of my birth place Glenrothes, thanks
My family lived on Falcon Gadens the Stevenson’s
