- Real Madrid walked into the Etihad knowing they had a tough game ahead and Manchester City made sure to ensure of that. With an abissmal pressure, they never once let Madrid catch their breath and are now headed as heavy favorites to lift their first ever European trophy!

What are your thoughts following this match? Should Ancelotti stay for next season? Could Madrid have played better or is Manchester City that much better?
I think it’s time for Ancelotti to leave he’s done his job as manager and I respect him so much for the things he did 2014 and 2022 but I think he should go to Brazil and enjoy it honestly. Either try to get Nagelsmann or Zidane if he’s available and hopefully this is a wake up call for Perez to buy some needed players that we are in desperate need such as fullbacks, right winger and a striker. Such a bummer way to end off the season but hey we wait until next season and pray we get a much better season from the boys.
The 1-1 tie at Bruynebau is a false sense for Madrid... the same happened to RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich

Thank you for posting. I am a Manchester City fan. I thought we would win because I do not think this Real Madrid side are as good as your past sides. I think your club is in transition. Generally I think the Premier League is much stronger than La Liga. It is much more competitive because all the clubs have a lot of money to buy the best players so City are honed by facing strong domestic competition whilst it is easy for Real Madrid and Barcelona to dominate in Spain. This makes your sides soft.

This game was one of the hardest game to watch. It would’ve been an incredible feat to make it to the final again but last year really was a miracle we won. Unfortunately, we can’t always have miracles every Champions League.

No doubt city deserves to win their UCL trophy. I say this as a liverpool fan. Last year's UCL match stunk of corruption. Just look at the French police creating a false narrative of liverpool fans. Thankfully social media showed what actually happened.

Man City at their best remind me of prime time Barcelona with Messi. They are another level above the best teams in the world, how can a team try to beat Man City when you can't even get the ball? Last night was like a training session, Real were made to look so poor, like rabbits caught in the headlights. Score was 4-0 but could have easily been 7-0 to Man City.
As a Barca fan it was a beautiful game to watch and enjoy Manchester City dismantle Real Madrid. Courtois literally kept the score a humbling rather than annihilation! I'm so happy the Miracle of Real died last night as never deserved to make the final in Istanbul. Congratulations to Man City and Guardiola!

A result like this was coming. Last season was a crazy miracle in games they got hammered rather than being representative of Real's current level. Their rebuild is still in progress, next step should be looking for a top modern coach who can revolutionise their style rather than tryna just wing it on individual brilliance.

Courtois is unbelievable. Madrid was very clutch last season, but they were also very jammy. Performances didnt match their results at all, im convinced there was black magic involved😂
This one was rough, but I knew it would be tough to win at the etihad. We practically allowed them to press us high in the first half, and we crumbled in the second half when we should have brought the game to them. Rudi should have started I realise now, and it’s time to give Cama that CM starter role, he cannot play at left back anymore. It’s time for Carlo to use all our young and new players next season, and to keep the veterans as subs. It’s sad but change is needed, especially for Benzema.
We will go again next year, as always.

What's crazy about this Manchester City performance. Is they maintained the same level of focus & urgency for the entire game! Possibly Man City's greatest ever performance in Europe?! Let's be honest, if not for Cortuois, City would've scored 6-7. Firstly, becouse it is at a CL semi-final 2nd leg.

One of our all time worst performance.. but that's to be expected, we have an aging core and failed to bring in adequate reinforcements in the summer, perez needs to wake up and get rolling or it'll be more of the same next season! You can't expect to win it every year, but we knew what our weaknesses were and failed to address them, that's the disappointing part. The coaching was also poor as the tactics and positions were all wrong. Benz n Luca look about done, and the kids need more time, so I'm expecting a dip next year before a bounce after that. All in all a disappointing end to a pretty mediocre season, luckily the Copa victory means it wasn't a total failure and gives us something to build on. Hopefully its a busy summer and we bounce back strong next year, we have the parts to dominate for another 10 years, we just need a few more crucial pieces to complete the puzzle. And finally congrats to city, they look formidable atm and fully deserved their spot in the final. We'll be back, HALA MADRID!!

What hurts the most about this loss is that it’s not the players fault at all, coaching staff let them down completely. Horrible lineup, horrible tactics. Putting the players in a position to fail, absolute joke.
Sure the players looked bad and flat on the pitch but Ancelotti got simply out-coached and got everything wrong in this game. City deserved that one but I fully place all the blame on the coaches for this one.

I was wondering bout this a lot but i think this manager is still top and let's be honest city is just a better team than us. Modrić or Benzema, whom i love were just too old and to weak for this game and got demolished. This is a huge fail of Ancelotti, team and whole club, especially loosing so tough, but after 3 hours of thinking about this game I think Ancelotti still deserves 1 more season cause losing with City which is just a better team overall in almost all cases is not that bad.

@@fabesey2016 Before Barca won La Liga they've only let in like 10 or 11 goals. They scored the most goals in La Liga, Their style of play was and still is getting better(obviously when everyone is fit and ready to go) the only issue we have is depth and final touches. Besides that I truly think that statistically not many teams have done better than Man City, Barca, Bayern and maybe Napoli.
@@Tareq.Y I should clarify: when I say "not that good", I mean they're not at a "best in europe" standard, and that their current level is one step below that and would be good for about 3rd place in the Premier League: they're still a good team but they're very much building something rather than being where they want to be.
Barca's problem isn't a lack of individual quality, it's that right now they have a system that's about trying to cram all their best players into something workable rather than a cohesive unit with purpose-signed players. Those players happen to be amazing of course so it *mostly* works, but against other high level sides it becomes apparent they aren't quite there yet.
@@Tareq.Y (cont.) Bayern are hard to evaluate too because in actually progressing the ball and arriving in dangerous situations they're even better than Man City, but in both boxes they are lacking. Much as you don't want to work back from one (two?) result, that's why they lost to them. They actually won the midfield battle for much of both games and were able to hit counters too, but lost the duels and lacked the final ball and finish, whereas City had the quality in both boxes and after adjusting their pressing scheme made their own spells of control count.
