The lights flashed at the beginning of the song were Venus, Venus, Pluto, Venus, and then that Gamma ray. The black-reds themselves don’t like gamma rays.
If you’ve noticed, the lights are “radioactive” colors. Metal-Plastic colors are “dark” colors. And this is the reason that the Germans call their homeland “fatherland” because all Metal-Plastic worlds begin on Uranus (dad). Before there was anything else, there was daddy Uranus. The cultures that call their homeland “motherland” begin on Venus.
Within Temptation shows are always so cinematic and theatrical. Wish Evanescence would do something as creative. They keep doing the same thing over and over with mostly the same setlist of songs.
Heared that so often in reactions from americans that they simply have never seen what european bands bring to the stage. And most of them thought until covid that there is no good music out there anymore because they only knew the boring hip-hop-pop-rap stuff that the industry in their country sells them all day long.
I wish the same :( I thought this tour would make Ev/Amy learn something from WT, but things don't seem to be going so well. I hope that at least they collab properly before the tour ends.
Setlist decisions are another thing (and no one ever agrees on that cause everyone has their favorites), but most rock/metal bands don't do Broadway-style huge theatrical sets 😂 Most rock/metal bands are about performance and raw energy, not big distracting pop star-common sets. And as you mention Evanescence, they're one of many rock/metal bands that don't rely on huge Broadway sets to distract from pure performance. They've always been about raw passionate energy and not focused on packaging a Lady Gaga/Katy Perry-type stage spectacle as if you're going to watch cirque de soleil show and not a rock show. Watch their Anywhere But Home live concert. Your ilk has been very comical and very transparent, as always 😂
@@carpediemearth well I didn't say I want them to put on a spectacle like Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. Something along the lines of what Within Temptation is doing would be fun. Amy kept saying the production and visuals of the worlds collide tour will be something fresh and different but I'm not seeing anything new. Their show is pretty much identical in visuals to their Halestorm/Korn tours.
@@osamus1796 WT's IS a Broadway-style big stage spectacle, even reviewers compared it to Broadway. That's what I mean. They want or need to be that kind of stage act, good for them. Many others aren't. And Ev's was different when she said that, because it was originally intended for WC before all the postponements due to COVID. So they continued their other tours, such as the co-tour with Halestorm and used it there. It's expensive and it can't just be sidelined or discarded when they didn't know if the WC tour would ever happen, so they had to move forward with their other scheduled tours. Now that WCT was able to start, they're using it, which, again, is the stage design they originally had for WC when it was first conceptualized. It's a massive expense and Ev are an INDEPENDENT band, they are not the label-funded band they were in the 2000s (with the commercial success of their debut) anymore to afford an expensive stage reinvention on short notice for a 5 year old tour concept that was happening three years ago. And this recent era is really the only instance they've used costly sets, because they've never been a band that does that before. Again, watch any concert of theirs from any earlier era and you'll see. It's primarily performance-driven. And unlike Ev who released their album last year and are in the middle of touring that album era, WT are in the releasing new music stage, so WT's focus is all self-promotion for their recent and upcoming music. That's why they're releasing music alongside crazy promotion. Plus they're naturally also taking advantage of the current association tour with Ev who has more name recognition. So WT fans trying to shlt on Ev and negatively compare them to WT's big Broadway spectacle and promotional gears is really comical and obvious. Your ilk clearly know very little of Ev and/or are just taking the opportunity to hate as usual, always negatively comparing one way or another, while the reality being that these bands couldn't be more different in many regards. Everyone who knows Ev since the early days knows they've never been a stage-spectacle band, even in their commercial heights of the 2000s.

Ok sư tỷ
Did Within Temptation play first?
