After a Decade, Yezdis are Still Displaced

On #WorldRefugeeDay, we draw attention to the ongoing struggles faced by internally displaced Yezidis in Iraq. Despite a decade having passed since the genocide, many Yezidis continue to live in camps with limited access to essential services or adequate shelter.
Our women and community-led NGO is committed to providing holistic trauma recovery programs that empower the most vulnerable among these displaced populations. We call on the governments of Iraq and the international community to take immediate and decisive action to ensure Yezidis do not face secondary displacement.
