@angellin1435 : That is because many Jews immigrated to Israel from Russia when the Iron Curtain fell and these Jews never were allowed to practice Judaism under Communism, and so grew up eating pork like non-Jews, or else those who didn't eat pork were married to non-Jewish spouses who did who also emigrated with them, so there was a market for pork consumption in Israel that never existed before, apart from the Christian Arabs who had no such compunction to obey Biblical laws like the Jews and Muslims do.
