I belong to the crowd who absolutely hate the in-ear silicone-tipped earphones, and the options for wireless earbuds within the normal shape range are running low for me - especially that, like you, i like punchy bass, too. this review definitely helped me make a decision. cheers!
I used to be like you , untill i was amazed with noise cancellation feature its worth the effort just change the silicon to memory foam and ur good to go

Nice review. I have the MODE II and, frankly speaking, I am not happy with them. Design is absolutely awsome, they are so beautiful, but they have constant dropouts and the sound quality is not good. What a pity. Go on with your videos, you are doing an amazing job!!!

These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I have the Marshall Tufton speaker. Marshal are renowned for the punch in the face bass with their amps and Bluetooth speakers as the tufton delivers, strange they seem to have gone away from that with these buds. Top review Aaron, I won’t be wasting my time or money on these.
@@aaronloudnwireless After my experience with the Minor IIIs, I wouldn't buy their product again. I'm so frustrated I bought these. They are useless to me.
Thank you SOOO much Aaron for distinguishing a very important feature which MANY reviews completely forget which is the single earbud use while the other is charging. You are awesome!
I'm of the variety that doesn't like silicone tips, I got the Air 3's several months back and absolutely love and recommend them! Especially for only 1/3 of the price of these.
I hope the Marshall Motif ANC has more to offer. My minor 2s stopped working about a month ago, and I need some new earbuds thought I’d go totally wireless this time. Anyway, great review as all ways, keep up the good work!
I really like minor 2 cus its design makes it sit tight in my ear when I'm working out and I won't feel like something stuck in my ear canal. But the battery is horrible. I don't know if it's just bad luck or Marshall do have some manufacturing problems on these battery. It just won't last long like it promised…
For the latency test, you should have used a device, wich has aptx codec, then the latency is of course much better. (Same goes for sound quality) I ordered these, and I will mainly use them with my DAP wich supports aptx codec.
thanks for the great video. Could you please compare Marshall Minor III with Bose Sport Earbuds in terms of the sound quality, bass and volume? thanks again
The sound is good which is all I care about, however the build quality and materials used are really cheap. Was cleaning them the other day and ended up poking right through the mesh with very little force.
BTW, do you do stipulate that feature in all your earbud reviews? I apologise for my ignorance, i found you when researching Sony XM4 headphones but will look now if you have done a review on the Nothing Ear 2. Thanks again for being so critical in your reviews
Dude here in Philippines, Marshall had just opened a new retail store here and these Minor 3s are on sale at like $35 only. I am almost tempted to buy but thanks for the suggestions.
I had this for three days The sound quality so lit! But not stable on ear and just after second drop from my ear it's not working anymore i just lost too much money and i'm very sad now😪
Thanks for this in the past i used wired earphones then for the past two years i've used Bose soundlink 2 headphones wich i do love BUT i'm sick of sweating in them during summer and they are quite badly worn out now and sometimes the bluetooth randomly disconnects with iphone or stutters for the first few seconds when i connect them. I think i am going to get the 3rd gen airpods even though i love the design of the Marshall minor 3's and they are cheaper i just think the airpods will be better. If i had an android phone i would likely try out the Marshall minor 3's.
Hi, I have a huge issue with these earbuds, because when I drop them back to the case, they are still playing music and even if I switch off my bluetooth on my mobile phone they're still on in the case without off mode. They are in really good condition and it's not an issue with dust or damage. And it happened with all my devices which are connected to those earbuds. Do you have any idea what exactly happened with them. Thx
So ... in short, there are no volume controls ... that is plenty I need to hear :) I love the speakers, but the headphones... well ... we just need more stuff Also I don't like open-fit headphones...
Minor 3 has the poorest blue tooth connection I ever tried. It cannot keep stable connection even when you place your phone in jeans and go for a walk. And when I contacted company they seems no care.. save your nerves go for smth else.
Just got these and they are whack! Poor sound quality, poor volume and are very budget like. Unbelievable why they would charge over a 100 for this. Straight refunding!
